Food immersing apparatus for beverage container
Abstract
The present invention includes a food immersing apparatus adapted to be retrofit onto an open beverage container having walls continuously connected to a substantially horizontal base. The apparatus includes a holder defining an area adapted to hold food that fits within the container. An elongated member couples a handle to the holder. The elongated member extends out of the container, over its walls and down at least a portion of an exterior part of its walls. The handle can be attached to the elongated member at the top of the container or along the part that extends downward. The holder may include a basket defining drainage holes to allow liquid to drain from the basket upon removal from the container. A restraint or lid member may be added atop the food holder to secure the food during immersion in the liquid.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A food immersing apparatus adapted to be retrofit onto an open beverage container having walls continuously connected to a substantially horizontal base, the food immersing apparatus comprising:
a holder defining an area adapted to hold said food, said holder adapted to fit within said open container; an elongated member coupled to said holder, said elongated member having portions adapted to extend out of said open container, over said walls and down at least a portion of an exterior part of said walls; a handle coupled to said elongated member at said portion adapted to extend over said walls.
2 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein said holder includes a basket defining drainage holes to allow liquid contained in said container to drain from said basket upon removal from said container.
3 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 2 further comprising a restraint coupled to said elongated member and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
4 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 2 further comprising a restraint coupled to said holder and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
5 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 2 further comprising a lid member coupled to said elongated member and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
6 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 2 further comprising a lid member coupled to said holder and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
7 . A food immersing apparatus adapted to be retrofit onto an open beverage container having walls continuously connected to a substantially horizontal base, the food immersing apparatus comprising:
a holder defining an area adapted to hold said food, said holder adapted to fit within said open container; an elongated member coupled to said holder, said elongated member having portions adapted to extend out of said open container, over said walls and down at least a portion of an exterior part of said walls; a handle coupled to said elongated member at said portion adapted to extend down at least a portion of said exterior part of said walls.
8 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 7 wherein said holder includes a basket defining drainage holes to allow liquid contained in said container to drain from said basket upon removal from said container.
9 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 8 further comprising a restraint coupled to said elongated member and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
10 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 8 further comprising a restraint coupled to said holder and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
11 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 8 further comprising a lid member coupled to said elongated member and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.
12 . A food immersing apparatus as claimed in claim 8 further comprising a lid member coupled to said holder and adapted to help restrain food placed in said holder.Cited by (0)
