Abstract
A liquid crystal display device includes a backlight case, a light guide disposed in the backlight case, a light source disposed in the backlight case and arranged at one side of the light guide, and a liquid crystal panel formed over the backlight case. An outer edge of the backlight case is straight in plane view at one side which extends in a direction perpendicular to an elongated direction of the light source, and a width of a top surface of the backlight case at the one side is wider at a position adjacent to the light guide than a width thereof at a position adjacent to the light source arranged.

a backlight case; a light guide being disposed in the backlight case; a light source being disposed in the backlight case and arranged at one side of the light guide; and a liquid crystal panel formed over the backlight case; wherein an outer edge of the backlight case is straight in plane view at one side which extends in a direction which is perpendicular to an elongated direction of the light source; and wherein a width of a top surface of the backlight case at the one side is wider at a position adjacent to the light guide than a width thereof at a position adjacent to the light source.
2 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 1 , wherein a width of an opening of the backlight case where the light guide is disposed is narrower than a width thereof where the light source is disposed.
3 . A liquid crystal display device comprising:
a backlight case; a light guide being disposed in the backlight case; a light source being disposed in the backlight case at one side of the light guide; and a liquid crystal panel formed over the backlight case; wherein an outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a first side which extends in a direction which is perpendicular to an elongated direction of the light source, and a second side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and which is adjacent to the light source; and wherein a width of a top surface of the backlight case at the first side is wider at a position adjacent to the light guide than a width thereof at a position adjacent to the light source, and a width of the backlight case at the second side is wider than a width of the first side at a region adjacent to the light source.
4 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 3 , wherein a width of an opening of the backlight case where the light source guide is disposed is narrower than a width thereof where the light source is disposed.
5 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 4 , wherein the first side is straight in plane view.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 3 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position which is far from the light source, the width of the top surface of the second side being wider than a width of a top surface of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 4 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position which is far from the light source, the width of the top surface of the second side being wider than a width of a top surface of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 5 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position which is far from the light source, the width of the top surface of the second side being wider than a width of a top surface of the third side.
9 . A liquid crystal display device comprising:
a backlight case; a light guide being disposed in the backlight case; a light source being disposed in the backlight case and arranged at one side of the light guide; and a liquid crystal panel formed over the backlight case; wherein an outer edge of the backlight case is straight in plane view at a side which extends in a direction which is perpendicular to an elongated direction of the light source; and wherein a width of the backlight case at the one side is wider at a position adjacent to the light guide than a width thereof at a position adjacent to the light source.
10 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 9 , wherein a width of an opening of the backlight case where the light guide is disposed is narrower than a width thereof where the light source is disposed.
11 . A liquid crystal display device comprising:
a backlight case; a light guide being disposed in the backlight case; a light source in the backlight case being disposed at one side of the light guide; and a liquid crystal panel formed over the backlight case; wherein an outer edge of the backlight case in the plane view has a first side which extends in a direction which is perpendicular to an elongated direction of the light source, and a second side which extends in a direction which is parallel to elongated direction of the light source and which is adjacent to the light source; and wherein a width of the backlight case at the first side is wider at a position adjacent to the light guide than a width thereof at a position adjacent to the light source, and a width of the backlight case at the second side is wider than a width of the first side at a region adjacent to the light source.
12 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 11 , wherein a width of an opening of the backlight case where the light is disposed is narrower than a width thereof where the light source is disposed.
13 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 12 , wherein the first side is straight in plane view.
14 . A liquid crystal display device according to claim 11 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position which is far from the light source, the width of the top surface of the second side being wider than a width of a top surface of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 12 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position which is far from the light source, the width of the top surface of the second side being wider than a width of a top surface of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 13 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position which is far from the light source, the width of the top surface of the second side being wider than a width of a top surface of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 11 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position far from the light source, and the width of the second side is wider than a width of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 12 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position far from the light source, and the width of the second side is wider than a width of the third side.

A liquid crystal display device according to claim 13 , wherein the outer edge of the backlight case in plane view has a third side which extends in a direction which is parallel to the elongated direction of the light source and is at a position far from the light source, and the width of the second side is wider than a width of the third side.Cited by (0)
