Abstract
A method of displaying sensed displacement is such as to collect single dimension light distribution data using a single dimensional imaging device; transmit the light distribution data to a processor; and display the light distribution data as a line bright wave form on a display using software implemented by the processor.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of displaying sensed displacement comprising:
collecting single dimension light distribution data using a single dimensional imaging device; transmitting the light distribution data to a processor; and displaying the light distribution data as a line bright wave form on a display using software implemented by the processor.
2 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 1 , further comprising:
deriving a graphic image indicating a measuring point coordinate derived from the light distribution data using a measuring point extraction algorithm; and displaying the graphic image in a predetermined relationship with the line bright wave form, to enable visual verification of the veracity of the graphic image derivation.
3 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 1 , further comprising:
using the single dimension light distribution data as raw image data; and displaying the raw image data on the display in a predetermined relationship with the line bright wave form, thus facilitating visual verification of the veracity of sensed displacement.
4 . A method of displaying sensed displacement comprising:
receiving a raw image comprising a row of pixels, in an imaging device; and displaying at least one of the raw image, and a line bright waveform which is derived using the raw image data, on a display which is operatively connected with the imaging device.
5 . A method as set forth in claim 4 , wherein the raw image and the line bright waveform are both displayed and are displayed in a predetermined relationship with respect to one another on the display.
6 . A method as set forth in claim 4 , further comprising: deriving a graphic image indicating a measuring point coordinate using a measuring point extraction algorithm, from the raw image.
7 . A method as set forth in claim 6 , further comprising: displaying the graphic image on the display in place of one of the raw image and the line bright waveform.
8 . A method as set forth in claim 6 , further comprising: displaying the graphic image on the display in addition to the raw image and the line bright waveform.
9 . A method of displaying sensed displacement comprising:
displaying a line bright waveform derived from light distribution data obtained by an imaging device, along with a graphic image to indicate a measuring point coordinate derived from the light distribution data using a measuring point extraction algorithm, on a monitor, to facilitate visual verification of the derivation of the extraction of the measuring point coordinate.
10 . A method as set forth in claim 9 , wherein the graphic image is shown over the line bright waveform.
11 . A method as set forth in claim 9 , wherein the line bright waveform comprises a brightness distribution along a row of pixels of light received by the imaging device.
12 . A method of displaying sensed displacement, comprising:
obtaining light distribution data using an imaging device; automatically extracting measuring point coordinate data from the light distribution data using a measuring point extraction algorithm; computing displacement from the automatically extracted measuring point coordinate data; editing at least part of the data used from the time of obtaining the light distribution data, until the time of computing the displacement for use as display data for an image monitor; adding raw light distribution data from the imaging device to the display data; and displaying an image on the image monitor comprising at least in part the raw light distribution obtained by the imaging device.
13 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 12 , wherein the light distribution data comprises an image containing light distribution in a single dimension.
14 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 12 , further comprising:
developing a graphic image data from the automatically extracted measuring point coordinate, during the step of editing; and using the graphic image data as part of the display data.
15 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 12 , further comprising developing the graphic image in a manner to indicate a tolerance range for a measurement value in a direction for measuring the displacement which is shown in association with the raw image.
16 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 12 , wherein the step of editing enlarges an image based on the display data in the direction of displacement measurement.
17 . A method of displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 15 , wherein the graphic image indicates a tolerance range for a measurement value in a direction of displacement measurement.
18 . A sensed displacement arrangement comprising:
a single dimensional imaging device which collects single dimension light distribution data using; means for transmitting the light distribution data to a processor; and means for displaying the light distribution data as a line bright wave form on a display using software implemented by the processor.
19 . A sensed displacement arrangement as set forth in claim 18 , further comprising:
means for deriving a graphic image indicating a measuring point coordinate derived from the light distribution data using a measuring point extraction algorithm; and means for displaying the graphic image in a predetermined relationship with the line bright wave form, to enable visual verification of the veracity of the graphic image derivation.
20 . A sensed displacement arrangement as set forth in claim 18 , further comprising:
means for using the single dimension light distribution data as raw image data; and means for displaying the raw image data on the display in a predetermined relationship with the line bright wave form, thus facilitating visual verification of the veracity of sensed displacement.
21 . A sensed displacement arrangement comprising:
means for receiving a raw image comprising a row of pixels, in an imaging device; and means for displaying at least one of the raw image, and a line bright waveform which is derived using the raw image data, on a display which is operatively connected with the imaging device.
22 . A sensed displacement arrangement as set forth in claim 21 , wherein the raw image and the line bright waveform are both displayed and are displayed in a predetermined relationship with respect to one another on the display.
23 . A sensed displacement arrangement as set forth in claim 21 , further comprising: means for deriving a graphic image indicating a measuring point coordinate using a measuring point extraction algorithm, from the raw image.
24 . A sensed displacement arrangement as set forth claim 23 , further comprising: means for displaying the graphic image on the display in place of one of the raw image and the line bright waveform.
25 . A sensed displacement arrangement as set forth in claim 23 , further comprising: means for displaying the graphic image on the display in addition to the raw image and the line bright waveform.
26 . An arrangement for displaying sensed displacement comprising:
means for displaying a line bright waveform derived from light distribution data obtained by an imaging device, along with a graphic image to indicate a measuring point coordinate derived from the light distribution data using a measuring point extraction algorithm, on a monitor, to facilitate visual verification of the derivation of the extraction of the measuring point coordinate.
27 . An arrangement as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the graphic image is shown over the line bright waveform.
28 . An arrangement as set forth in claim 26 , wherein the line bright waveform comprises a brightness distribution along a row of pixels of light received by the imaging device.
29 . An arrangement for displaying sensed displacement, comprising:
means for obtaining light distribution data using an imaging device; means for automatically extracting measuring point coordinate data from the light distribution data using a measuring point extraction algorithm; means for computing displacement from the automatically extracted measuring point coordinate data; means for editing at least part of the data used from the time of obtaining the light distribution data, until the time of computing the displacement for use as display data for an image monitor; means for adding raw light distribution data from the imaging device to the display data; and means for displaying an image on the image monitor comprising at least in part the raw light distribution obtained by the imaging device.
30 . An arrangement for displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 29 , wherein the light distribution data comprises an image containing light distribution in a single dimension.
31 . An arrangement for displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 29 , further comprising:
means for developing a graphic image data from the automatically extracted measuring point coordinate, during the step of editing; and means for using the graphic image data as part of the display data.

An arrangement for displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 29 , further comprising means for developing the graphic image in a manner to indicate a tolerance range for a measurement value in a direction for measuring the displacement which is shown in association with the raw image.
33 . An arrangement for displaying sensed displacement as set forth in claim 29 , wherein editing means enlarges an image based on the display data in the direction of displacement measurement.
