Abstract
A urinal outlet assembly comprises a urinal outlet pipe and a connector for coupling the outlet pipe to a waste pipe inlet. The connector is adapted to receive the outlet pipe in a sliding sealing fit.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A urinal outlet assembly comprising:
a urinal outlet pipe; and a connector for coupling the outlet pipe to a waste pipe inlet, the connector being adapted to receive the outlet pipe in a sliding sealing fit.
2 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the urinal outlet pipe is formed directly on the urinal.
3 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the urinal outlet pipe is adapted to be coupled to a urinal.
4 . The assembly of claim 3 , wherein the urinal outlet pipe comprises a trap outlet pipe of a trap adapted to be coupled to a urinal outlet.
5 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector comprises a seal.
6 . The assembly of claim 5 , wherein the connector seal comprises a ring seal.
7 . The assembly of claim 6 , wherein the connector comprises a ring seal adjacent the open end of the connector adapted to receive the outlet pipe.
8 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector is adapted to engage with the waste pipe inlet.
9 . The assembly of claim 8 , wherein the end of the connector is adapted to be received in the waste pipe inlet.
10 . The assembly of claim 8 , wherein the end of the connector is adapted to receive the waste pipe inlet.
11 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector is adapted to be permanently fixed to the waste pipe.
12 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector comprises an inlet portion of a first diameter selected to receive the outlet pipe and an outlet portion of a second diameter selected to receive the waste pipe inlet.
13 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector is adapted to guide a portion of the outlet pipe into the waste pipe inlet.
14 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector comprises an inlet portion adapted to receive and accommodate a portion of the outlet pipe.
15 . The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector comprises an outlet portion dimensioned to permit the outlet portion to be located within the waste pipe inlet.
16 . A urinal connector for coupling a urinal to a waste pipe, the connector including means for coupling the connector to a waste pipe inlet and means for receiving a urinal outlet pipe in a sliding sealing fit.
17 . A method of coupling a urinal outlet to a waste pipe, the method comprising:
providing a urinal outlet pipe; providing a connector; coupling the connector to a waste pipe inlet; and mating the urinal outlet pipe with the connector such that the connector receives the outlet pipe in a sliding sealing fit.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
