Storage rack having roller track with continuously adjustable brackets

Abstract

In a storage rack comprising a front beam having a ledge, a back beam having a ledge, and a roller track comprising two side rails, a front bracket having a flange resting on the ledge of the front beam and a back bracket having a ledge resting on the ledge of the back beam position the roller track relative to the front and back beams. The front and back brackets are attached to the side rails, via bolts passing through holes in the side rails and through elongate slots in the front and back brackets, so as to be continuously adjustable over limited ranges.

A storage rack comprising a front beam, a back beam, and a roller track, the front beam having a recess, which opens upwardly and backwardly and which defines an upwardly facing ledge of the front beam, the back beam having a recess, which opens upwardly and frontwardly and which defines an upwardly facing ledge of the back beam, the roller track comprising two side rails, each of which has a front end and a back end, the roller track further comprising a series of rollers, each of which is journalled between the side rails, the roller track further comprising a front bracket and a back bracket, the front bracket being attached to the front end of one of the side rails and defining a flange, which projects frontwardly and is adapted to rest on the upwardly facing ledge of the front beam, the back bracket being attached to the back end of one of the side rails and defining a flange, which projects frontwardly and is adapted to rest on the upwardly facing ledge of the back beam.  
   
   
       2 . A storage rack comprising a front beam, a back beam, and a roller track, the front beam having a recess, which opens upwardly and backwardly and which defines an upwardly facing ledge of the front beam, the back beam having a recess, which opens upwardly and frontwardly and which defines an upwardly facing ledge of the back beam, the roller track comprising two side rails, each of which has a front end and a back end, the roller track further comprising a series of rollers, each of which is journalled between the side rails, the roller track further comprising two front brackets and two back brackets, each front bracket being attached to the front end of an associated one of the side rails and defining a flange, which projects frontwardly and is adapted to rest on the upwardly facing ledge of the front beam, each back bracket being attached to the back end of an associated one of the side rails and defining a flange, which projects frontwardly and is adapted to rest on the upwardly facing ledge of the back beam.  
   
   
       3 . The storage rack of  claim 2 , wherein each front bracket is attached to the front end of an associated one of the side rails so as to be continuously adjustable within a limited range of spacings of the flange of said front bracket from the front end of the associated one of the side rails.

The storage rack of  claim 2 , wherein each back bracket is attached to the back end of an associated one of the side rails so as to be continuously adjustable within a limited range of spacings of the flange of said back bracket from the back end of the associated one of the side rails.

The storage rack of  claim 3 , wherein each back bracket is attached to the back end of an associated one of the side rails, via a bolt passing through an elongate slot, so as to be continuously adjustable within a limited range of spacings of the flange of said back bracket from the back end of the associated one of the side rails.

The storage rack of  claim 2 , wherein each front bracket is attached to the front ends of the side rails, via bolts passing through holes in the side rails and passing through elongate slots in said front bracket, so as to be continuously adjustable within a limited range of spacings of the flange of said front bracket from the front end of the associated one of the side rails.  
   
   
       7 . The storage rack of  claim 2 , wherein each back bracket is attached to the back end of an associated one of the side rails, via bolts passing through holes in the side rails and passing through elongate slots in said back bracket, so as to be continuously adjustable within a limited range of spacings of the flange of said back bracket from the back end of the associated one of the side rails.

The storage rack of  claim 3 , wherein each back bracket is attached to the back end of an associated one of the side rails, via bolts passing through holes in the side rails and passing through elongate slots in said front bracket, so as to be continuously adjustable within a limited range of spacings of the flange of said back bracket from the back end of the associated one of the side rails.

The storage rack of  claim 6 , wherein each bracket attached to an associated one of the side rails so as to be thus adjustable is attached via two bolts, each of which passes through one of a pair of said holes in the associated one of the side rails and through one of a pair of said slots in said bracket.

The storage rack of  claim 7 , wherein each bracket attached to an associated one of the side rails so as to be thus adjustable is attached via two bolts, each of which passes through one of a pair of said holes in the associated one of the side rails and through one of a pair of said slots in said bracket.

The storage rack of  claim 8 , wherein each bracket attached to an associated one of the side rails so as to be thus adjustable is attached via two bolts, each of which passes through one of a pair of said holes in the associated one of the side rails and through one of a pair of said slots in said bracket.
