Tray, particularly for transporting vehicle wheels and/or wheel rims, and a support, particularly for use with a tray for transporting vehicle wheels and/or rims of vehicle wheels

Abstract

A tray, particularly for transporting vehicle wheels and/or rims of vehicle wheels, includes a support including a first frame having a projection and defining a first situation of interaction with a first wheel configuration. The support includes a second frame that cooperates with the projection of the first frame and defining a second situation of interaction with a second wheel configuration. A support can be used with the tray to support vehicle wheels/rims of vehicle wheels.

1 . A tray for transporting at least one of a vehicle wheel and a vehicle wheel rim comprising: 
 at least one support including: 
 at least one first frame having at least one projection and defining a first wheel configuration, and  
 at least one second frame that cooperates with the at least one projection of the at least one first frame and defining a second wheel configuration.  
   
   
   
       2 . The tray according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one projection comprises three projections each offset by 120°.  
   
   
       3 . The tray according to  claim 2 , wherein each of the three projections includes a first step, a second step and a third step arranged consecutively and forming a stair.  
   
   
       4 . The tray according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one second frame includes a first step, a second step and a third step arranged consecutively and forming a stair.  
   
   
       5 . The tray according to  claim 3  wherein the at least one second frame comprises two second frames each axially aligned with and adjacent to two of the three projections of the at least one first frame.  
   
   
       6 . The tray according to  claim 1 , wherein the second wheel configuration has a second diameter larger than a first diameter of the first wheel configuration.  
   
   
       7 . The tray according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one support comprises three supports that define a first row of the tray.  
   
   
       8 . A support for a tray for transporting at least one of a vehicle wheel and a vehicle wheel rim comprising: 
 at least one first frame including at least one projection and defining a first wheel configurations; and    at least one second frame that cooperates with the at least one projection of the at least one first frame and defining second wheel configuration.    
   
   
       9 . The support according to  claim 8 , wherein the at least one projection comprises three projections each offset by 120°.  
   
   
       10 . The support according to  claim 9 , wherein each of the three projections includes a first step, a second step and a third step consecutively arranged and forming a stair.  
   
   
       11 . The support according to  claim 8 , wherein the at least one second frame includes a first step, a second step and a third step consecutively arranged and forming a stair.  
   
   
       12 . The support according to  claim 10  wherein the at least one second frame comprises two second frames each axially aligned with and adjacent to two of the three projections of the at least one first frame.
