Fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes and method of improving the same

Abstract

Fiber materials (for example, yarns, knitted goods and woven goods) are provided which sustain texture characteristics of a natural fiber such as silk, are effectively prevented from yellowing over time due to light or sweat, are less contaminated with a residual toxic gas, and are effectively prevented from worsening in warmth retention and strength over time, but which can be produced at a lower cost. More specifically, the fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes are obtained by bringing a chemical fiber containing 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide together with a natural fiber.

1 . Fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes characterized by comprising: 
 polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing at least titanium oxide; and    silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber, wherein    both the fibers exist in a state of mutual contact.    
   
   
       2 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 1 , wherein the fiber materials are yarn made by spinning the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide and the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber.

The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 2 , characterized in that the fiber materials are composite yarn made by winding sheath yarn comprising the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber around an outer surface of core yarn comprising the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide.  
   
   
       4 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 3 , characterized in that the sheath yarn of the composite yarn is wound around the core yarn in a state where the core yarn is not exposed in practical terms.

The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 2 , wherein the fiber materials are twisted yarn made by mutually twisting together yarn comprising the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide and yarn comprising the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber.

The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 1 , wherein the fiber materials are fabric woven using a yarn made by spinning the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide and the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber.

The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 1 , wherein the fiber materials are knitted goods knitted using a yarn made by spinning the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide and the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber.

The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 6 , wherein the fiber materials are fabric made using the yarn comprising the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide as a warp and/or a weft of an intermediate material of the fabric, and then incorporating the yarn comprising the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber in the intermediate material from above and below so as to cover and hide the intermediate material.

The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 1 , wherein the fiber materials are sandwich-structured cloth comprising a cloth woven using the yarn with the the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing titanium oxide and a cloth woven using the yarn with the silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber, which is overlaid and connected on both top and bottom sides thereof.  
   
   
       10 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 1 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.

A method for improving qualities required for clothes in fiber materials by structuring the fiber materials from a polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber containing at least titanium oxide and silk fiber and/or animal hair fiber, wherein both the fibers exist in a state of mutual contact.  
   
   
       14 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 2 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.  
   
   
       15 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 3 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.  
   
   
       16 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 4 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.  
   
   
       17 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 5 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.  
   
   
       18 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 6 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.  
   
   
       19 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 7 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.  
   
   
       20 . The fiber materials having improved qualities required for clothes according to  claim 8 , wherein the polyamide fiber and/or polyester fiber includes 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of titanium oxide based upon the total fiber weight.
