Electronic device provided with a concealed strap holder

Abstract

A portable electronic device includes a housing and at least one detachable cover element that define an interior and exterior of the device. A strap-attachment is on the housing and configured to attach a carrying strap to the electronic device. The strap-attachment is concealed in the interior of the device by the detachable cover element. An opening is configured to provide access to the carrying strap from the exterior of the electronic device to the attaching means is provided.

A portable electronic device comprising: a housing and at least one detachable cover element which together define an interior and an exterior of the electronic device; a strap-attaching means on the housing for attaching a carrying strap to the electronic device, the strap-attaching means being concealed in the interior of the device by the detachable cover element; and an opening configured to provide the carrying strap with access to the attaching means from the exterior of the electronic device.  
   
   
       2 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 1 , wherein the strap-attaching means comprises an eyelet provided in a portion of the housing.  
   
   
       3 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 2 , wherein the eyelet is in an inwardly protruding tongue provided in the housing.  
   
   
       4 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 2 , wherein the eyelet is provided at an inwardly facing portion of a wall of the housing.  
   
   
       5 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 1 , wherein the strap-attaching means comprises a hook provided inwardly in the housing.  
   
   
       6 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 1 , further comprising a recess at an edge of the detachable cover element, the recess in combination with an edge of the housing forming the opening for the carrying strap.  
   
   
       7 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 1 , wherein the detachable cover element is a battery cover.  
   
   
       8 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 1 , wherein the electronic device is a mobile radio station.  
   
   
       9 . A portable electronic device according to  claim 8 , wherein the mobile radio station is a mobile telephone.
