Mobile information terminal equipment and portable electronic apparatus

Abstract

The objective of the present invention is to have a desired screen displayed with shortened waiting time in using functions for the electronic note, etc., while engaging in telephone talk. Another prime objective of the present invention is to achieve an easy-to-use mobile information terminal equipment which also functions as an electronic note, word processor, personal computer, and so on. In transmitting from telephone mode (cover closed status) to information terminal mode (cover opened status), the screen to be displayed is determined to be either a historical information, talk log information, or user setting screen. This enables the user to obtain the desired screen with fewer number of operations and with less waiting time.

1 . An image display equipment comprising: 
 an image display unit;    a cover for covering the image display unit and for changing an area covered by the image display unit by moving;    a position detector for detecting a position of the cover;    a display control processing unit for controlling the image display unit to display an image on a part of the image display unit other than a part of the image display unit covered by the cover, according to a detection result from the position detector.    
   
   
       2 . The image display equipment of  claim 1 , wherein the cover includes a cut-off part, 
 wherein the display control processing unit controls the image display unit so as to display an image on a part of the image display unit, the part of the image display unit corresponding to the cut-off part of the cover.    
   
   
       3 . The image display equipment of  claim 1 , further comprising an operation unit and wherein the cover includes a cut-off part, wherein the cut-off part is provided at an end of the cover, the end is located on a side of the operation unit.  
   
   
       4 . The image display equipment of  claim 2 , wherein the cut-off part of the cover is formed in a direction along which a part of the image display unit exposed from the cut-off part expands.  
   
   
       5 . A mobile communication terminal comprising: 
 a display unit for displaying a plurality of communication terminal identification information corresponding to a piece of name information;    a selection unit for selecting one of the plurality of communication terminal identification information displayed on the display unit; and    a call-out processing unit for performing a call-out processing based on the one of the plurality of communication terminal identification information selected by the selection unit.
