Abstract
The instant invention relates to a system for collecting and injecting water from a subterranean aquifer into hydrocarbon reservoirs, more specifically, the invention is directed to a system of water collection wells in aquifers and injector wells in oil reservoirs (petroleum) and one or more pumps. The invention finds application in production systems for hydrocarbons, where it is utilized for injecting water to maintain the pressure in a hydrocarbon reservoir (oil and gas), thereby enhancing oil recovery.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system for injecting water, collected in a subterranean aquifer and injector wells, into an oil reservoir, characterized by said system comprising;
at least one collection well; at least one injector well; a pump installed at the ocean floor in a metal structure base or a dummy well; wherein a hydraulic link between the collection well and the injector well is provided at the ocean floor through submersible pipes which connect one or more collection wells to one or more injector wells.
2 . A system for injecting water, collected in a subterranean aquifer and injector well, into an oil reservoir, characterized by said system comprising:
at least one collection well; at least one injector well; a pump installed in the interior of the collection well, enclosed in a short section of a column (tubing mounting assembly) located above an obturator which supports the remainder of the water producing column, installed in an arrangement which dispenses with the need for a conventional wet Christmas Tree (WCT).
3 . The system according to claim 2 , characterized by an injection control element for facilitating the blocking of said collection well, being installed in a collection column, distinguished by the presence of an injection control element at the collection column thence permitting blocking of the collection well.
4 . A system for injecting water, collected in a subterranean aquifer and injector wells, into a oil reservoir, characterized by said system comprising;
a collection zone; at least one injection zone; a pump; wherein said pump may be installed internally or externally to a multilateral, directional or horizontal well to siphon water collected in the zone of the aquifer and inject that same water into the oil reservoir.Cited by (0)
