Abstract
According to the prior art, passage holes in components are often introduced after the operation (casting) for producing the component. This signifies an additional outlay in terms of time and of apparatus. The outlay in terms of time can be reduced considerably if a casting mold is formed in such a way as at least partially to produce the passage hole, in that projections corresponding to the passage holes are formed on the inner wall and/or the outer wall of the casting mold.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 8 . (canceled)
9 . A method for the producing a casting mold and a model of a component, comprising:
generating a depression in a surface of the model; introducing a molding material into at least a portion of the depression to generate at least part of a hole of the component to be produced; partially or completely filling at least one depression with the material to produce an inner projection of the casting mold; filling the depression with the material when applying an inner wall, a core or an outer wall of the casting mold; curing the material in the depression; and connecting the material to the inner wall or the outer wall of the casting mold.
10 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein
the casting mold at least consists of the inner wall or the core and the outer wall, and the inner wall respectively the core are already arranged in the model before the depression is created.
11 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein
the casting mold at least consists of the inner wall or the core and the outer wall, and the depression is created in the model before applying the inner or outer wall.
12 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the depression extends continuously through a wall of the model.
13 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the depression extends only partially through a wall of the model.
14 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the depression is an oblique hole.
15 . The method as claimed in claim 11 , further comprising:
connecting on outer wall of the casting mold to the model; and removing the model to form the casting mold.
16 . The method as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the casting mold is adapted to produce a turbine component of a gas turbine or steam turbine.Cited by (0)
