Abstract

A device for adjusting the release threshold of a binding, comprising a threaded rod ( 2 ) and an end stop which is movable in translation on this threaded rod ( 2 ), wherein it comprises a planet wheel ( 1 ) with teeth ( 5 ) able to be activated by the corresponding teeth ( 7 ) of a tool ( 6 ) in order to move the end stop in translation along the threaded rod ( 2 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A device for adjusting a binding of a boot on a gliding board, comprising a threaded rod ( 2 ) and an end stop which is movable in translation on this threaded rod ( 2 ), wherein it comprises a planet wheel ( 1 ) with teeth ( 5 ) able to be activated by the corresponding teeth ( 7 ) of a tool ( 6 ) in order to move the end stop in translation along the threaded rod ( 2 ).

2 . The device for adjusting a binding as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the planet wheel ( 1 ) comprises teeth ( 5 ) whose shape and dimensions correspond to the teeth ( 7 ) of a standard cross-head screwdriver ( 6 ), and it comprises more than four teeth.

3 . The device for adjusting a binding as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the teeth ( 5 ) of the planet wheel are such that they can be activated by a cross-head screwdriver positioned perpendicularly with respect to the axis of the threaded rod ( 2 ).

4 . The device for adjusting a binding as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the teeth ( 5 ) of the planet wheel are such that they can be activated by a cross-head screwdriver positioned parallel to the axis of the threaded rod ( 2 ).

5 . The device for adjusting a binding as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the planet wheel ( 1 ) is fixed on the threaded rod ( 2 ) on which is mounted a nut ( 3 ) which is movable in translation and serves as an end stop for a spring ( 4 ) of the binding.

6 . The device for adjusting a binding as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said device is mounted in a housing ( 10 ) intended to be fixed on a gliding board, the housing ( 10 ) comprising an opening ( 11 ) for insertion of a screwdriver ( 6 ), and an elongate slot ( 12 ) for viewing a protruding part ( 13 ) of the nut ( 3 ) and for viewing the adjustment of the binding.

7 . The device for adjusting the release threshold of a binding as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said device comprises two planet wheels ( 1 , 1 ′) fixed to two threaded rods to allow two nuts ( 3 , 3 ′) to abut against two springs ( 4 , 4 ′), and wherein the spacing between the two planet wheels ( 1 , 1 ′) is such that it permits simultaneous contact of their respective teeth ( 5 , 5 ′) with those of a cross-head screwdriver ( 6 ) positioned perpendicularly with respect to the axis of the threaded rod ( 2 ).

8 . The device for adjusting the release threshold of a binding as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the planet wheel ( 1 ) is movable in translation on the threaded rod ( 2 ) and serves as an end stop for a spring ( 4 ) of the device.

9 . The device for adjusting the release threshold of a binding as claimed in claim 8 , wherein said device comprises a part ( 8 ) moving simultaneously with the planet wheel ( 1 ) and serving as a guide for the screwdriver ( 6 ) and as an indicator of the adjustment.

10 . A device for binding a sports boot on a gliding board, wherein said device comprises a device for adjusting its release threshold as claimed in claim 1.
