Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A gunstock, comprising:
a barrel brace for supporting a gun barrel; a pistol grip projecting downwardly from the rear of said barrel brace; an X-shaped crosspiece projecting rearwardly from said pistol grip; a butt projecting rearwardly from said crosspiece; and, a handle projecting forwardly from the bottom of said pistol grip.
2 . The gunstock according to claim 1 wherein said handle connects to the front of said barrel brace.
3 . The gunstock according to claim 1 further comprising a trigger guard having a rear end and a front end and being connected at said rear end to said pistol grip and at said front end to said barrel brace.
4 . The gunstock according to claim 3 further comprising a pistol grip guard being connected at its top to said pistol grip and at its front said trigger guard.
5 . A gunstock, comprising:
a barrel brace for supporting a gun barrel; a pistol grip projecting downwardly from said barrel brace; an X-shaped crosspiece projecting rearwardly from said pistol grip; a butt projecting rearwardly from said crosspiece; a trigger guard connecting said pistol grip and said barrel brace; a handle connecting the bottom of said pistol grip to the front of said barrel brace; and, a pistol grip guard connecting said trigger guard and said handle.
6 . The gunstock according to claim 5 wherein the front of said pistol grip is inclined at an acute angle relative to said barrel brace.
7 . The gunstock according to claim 5 wherein the top of said crosspiece defines a comb for engagement with the cheek of a user and the rear of said butt defines a heel for engagement with the shoulder of a user and said heel has a drop that is about 2.4 times greater than that of said comb.
8 . The gunstock according to claim 5 wherein said pistol grip and said handle are each provided with projections for separating the fingers of a user.
9 . A gunstock, comprising:
a barrel brace for supporting a gun barrel; a pistol grip projecting downwardly from the rear of said barrel brace; an X-shaped crosspiece projecting rearwardly from said pistol grip, said crosspiece defining a thumbhole between itself and said pistol grip; a butt projecting rearwardly from said crosspiece, said butt defining a shoulder hole between itself and said crosspiece; a trigger guard projecting forwardly from said pistol grip and connecting said pistol grip to said barrel brace, said trigger guard defining a trigger opening between itself, said pistol grip and said barrel brace; a handle projecting forwardly from the bottom of said pistol grip and connecting said pistol grip to the front of said barrel brace; and, a pistol grip guard having a bottom end connected to said handle and a top end connected to said trigger guard, said pistol grip guard defining a pistol grip opening between itself, said pistol grip and said trigger guard, and said pistol grip guard defining a handle opening between itself, said handle, said trigger guard and said barrel brace.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
