Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat having an upholstered seat back and an upholstered seat surface. The edge of the seat surface ( 11 ) is provided with an elevation that is provided in the form of a supporting part ( 12 ).

Motor vehicle seat comprising a padded backrest and, a padded seat a characterized by raised portion situated at the edge of the seat surface in form of a supporting part ( 12 ) to avoid the outside rotation of the thigh of a motor vehicle driver during driving, wherein said supporting part ( 12 ) comprises a shape tapering from the front towards the back and is formed adjustably in its outer dimensions, and wherein said supporting part ( 12 ) is integrated into the padded seat or is formed as a separate attachable supplementary part.  
   
   
       2 . Motor vehicle seat according to  claim 1 , characterized by the fact, that the supporting part ( 12 ) is integrated in the padded seat or is a separate element to be placed on the seat surface.  
   
   
       3 . Motor vehicle seat according to  claim 1  or  2 , characterized by the fact that the supporting part ( 12 ) has a shape tapering from the front backwards.  
   
   
       4 . Motor vehicle seat according to at least one of the  claims 1  to  3  characterized by the fact, that the supporting part ( 12 ) is designed variably as far as its outer dimensions are concerned.
