Claims

Abstract

The present invention provides a curable composition which comprises: Component (A): A polyoxyalkylene polymer containing at least one reactive silyl group at a molecular chain terminus; Component (B): A polymer composed of acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer units and/or methacrylic acid alkyl ester monomer units containing, on the average, at least one reactive silyl group in each molecule; and, Component (C): An ionic surfactant, and which may be suitably used as a sealant for buildings inhibiting dust/dirt adhesion and hardly allowing traces of rain and like stains to leave thereon.

1 . A curable composition 
 which comprises the following components (A), (B) and (C):    Component (A): A polyoxyalkylene polymer containing at least one reactive silyl group at a molecular chain terminus;    Component (B): A polymer composed of acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer units and/or methacrylic acid alkyl ester monomer units containing, on the average, at least one reactive silyl group in each molecule;    Component (C): An ionic surfactant.    
     
     
         2 . The curable composition according to  claim 1   wherein the component (C) ionic surfactant is an anionic surfactant.    
     
     
         3 . The curable composition according to  claim 2   wherein the component (C) anionic surfactant is a sulfuric acid ester salt type anionic surfactant.    
     
     
         4 . The curable composition according to  claim 3   wherein the component (C) sulfuric acid ester salt type anionic surfactant is a sodium alkyl sulfate type anionic surfactant.    
     
     
         5 . The curable composition according to  claim 2   wherein the component (C) anionic surfactant is a fluorine-containing surfactant.    
     
     
         6 . The curable composition according to  claim 5   wherein the component (C) fluorine-containing surfactant is a fluorine-containing alkylsulfonic acid salt.    
     
     
         7 . The curable composition according to  claim 1   wherein the component (C) ionic surfactant is a cationic surfactant.    
     
     
         8 . The curable composition according to  claim 7   wherein the component (C) ionic surfactant is a nitrogen-containing compound.    
     
     
         9 . The curable composition according to  claim 1   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         10 . A sealant for buildings 
 which comprises the curable composition according to  claim 1 .    
     
     
         11 . The curable composition according to  claim 2   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         12 . The curable composition according to  claim 3   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         13 . The curable composition according to  claim 4   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         14 . The curable composition according to  claim 5   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         15 . The curable composition according to  claim 6   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         16 . The curable composition according to  claim 7   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         17 . The curable composition according to  claim 8   wherein the content of the component (C) is 0.1 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (A) and (B).    
     
     
         18 . A sealant for buildings 
 which comprises the curable composition according to  claim 2 .    
     
     
         19 . A sealant for buildings 
 which comprises the curable composition according to  claim 3 .    
     
     
         20 . A sealant for buildings 
 which comprises the curable composition according to  claim 4.
