Abstract

The invention relates to a carrier bag consisting of a thermoplastic, synthetic material film with two opposing lateral walls ( 6, 7 ) that are welded together at their base and lateral edges ( 8, 9 ). A closing device ( 2 ), which is provided with profiled strips and actuated by a sliding element ( 3 ) and which closes the fill opening ( 10 ), is welded to the internal face of the lateral walls. According to the invention, each lateral wall ( 6, 7 ) is provided with a grip hole ( 4 ) below the closing device ( 2 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A shopping bag made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin with two adjacent side panels ( 8 and 9 ) welded together at side ( 6 and 7 ) and bottom edges and having inner faces to which are welded profiled strips of a closure ( 4 ) operable by a slider ( 3 ) and serving to close a fill mouth ( 10 ), characterized in that each side panel ( 6 and 7 ) is formed below the closure ( 2 ) with a hand hole ( 4 ).

2 . The shopping bag according to claim 1 , characterized in that the hand hole ( 4 ) is punched out of the side panels ( 6 and 7 ).

3 . The shopping bag according to claim 1 , characterized in that the hand hole ( 4 ) is formed as a C-shaped cutout in the side panels ( 6 and 7 ).

4 . The shopping bag according to claim 1 , characterized in that a thermoplastic-foil reinforcement ( 5 ) is welded on an inner face of each side panel ( 6 and 7 ) around each of the hand holes ( 4 ).

5 . The shopping bag according to claim 1 , characterized in that the side panels ( 6 and 7 ) are made of an insulating foil.

6 . A shopping bag made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin with two adjacent side panels ( 12 and 13 ) welded together at side and bottom ( 17 ) edges and having inner faces to which are welded profiled strips of a closure ( 14 ) operable by a slider 18 ) and serving to close a fill mouth, characterized in that a handle ( 15 or 16 ) made of a thermoplastic synthetic-resin foil is welded to an outer face of each side panel ( 12 and 13 ), each handle ( 15 and 16 ) being formed with a hand hole and extending in welded-on condition toward the floor edge ( 17 ) of the bag ( 11 ) and lying flatly against the respective side panel ( 12 and 13 ).

7 . The shopping bag according to claim 6 , characterized in that the hand holes ( 19 ) are each made as an opening punched in the respective handles ( 15 and 16 ).

8 . The shopping bag according to claim 6 , characterized in that the hand holes ( 19 ) are formed as C-shaped cutouts in the handles ( 15 and 16 ).

9 . The shopping bag according to claim 6 , characterized in that the side panels ( 12 and 13 ) are made of an insulating foil.

10 . The shopping bag according to claim 6 , characterized in that the handles ( 15 and 16 ) are welded on directly below the closure ( 14 ).

11 . The shopping bag according to claim 6 , characterized in that the handles ( 15 and 16 ) are welded on together with the closure ( 14 ).

12 . The shopping bag according to claim 6 , characterized in that the handles ( 15 and 16 ) extend partially across the side panels ( 12 and 13 ) or extend over the full width of the side panels ( 12 and 13 ).
