Method of manufacturing a multiple component device

Abstract

Disclosed are methods of manufacturing a product from individual components comprising the steps of providing data regarding components to a customer; permitting the customer to request a product comprising the combination of the components; transmitting the request to a first location remote from the customer; receiving one of the components at a first location; transporting the components from a first location to a second location; assembling the components into the desired product at the second location; and transporting the assembled product to the customer.

1 . A computer system for assisting in the manufacture of medical products comprising: 
 a main computer comprising an organized database with data relating to medical device components and configured to receive an order for a medical combination;    a program configured to allow a user to locate information relating to a desired component set and instruct the main computer to display an assembled version of the medical combination;    a screen configured to illustrate the assembled version of the medical combination; and    a second computer configured to allow a user to order the medical combination.    
   
   
       2 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the user is a customer.  
   
   
       3 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the user is an employee that speaks with a customer by phone.  
   
   
       4 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein the program is configured to instruct the main computer to display a cyber version of the medical combination.
