Abstract

A skinning card game. The game includes a marked playing surface, one or more standard decks of playing cards, a spinning wheel, and chips. The marked playing surface is provided with several identical player grids and a dealer grid. Each player and dealer grid contains a total of thirteen chip positioning spaces, one chip positioning space for each of the playing cards in each suit. Each grid may be arranged in a 4×3 array with a single space centered at the top of the array. Each chip positioning space is designated with a designation representing a playing card, such as for instance: A=ace, 1=one, 2=two, 3=three, 4=four, 5=five, 6=six, 7=seven, 8=eight, 9=nine, 10=ten, J=jack, Q=queen, and K=king. The spinning wheel has a spinnable pointer and thirteen card designation sections each designated in no particular order with the card values of ace, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen, and King.

1 . A method for playing a card game that comprises the steps of: 
 a. providing a marked playing surface; one or more decks of playing cards; a house card determining device; and wagering chips;    the marked playing surface being provided with a plurality of player grids and at least one dealer grid, each player and dealer grid containing a plurality of chip positioning spaces, each chip positioning space being designated with a designation representing a playing card;    the house card determining device having means for generating a random house card in response to being activated by a dealer;    b. obtaining a determination of the house card using the house card determining device;    c. having the dealer mark the dealer grid;    d. having each player place wagers for the hand wherein each wager is indicated by a player placing one or more chips on any chip positioning space except the chip positioning space corresponding to the house card;    e. pulling a card from the deck and comparing it to said house card in order to determine a match card;    f. the house taking and paying wagers according to the following format: should the match card equal the house card, the house pays each player for every wager the player has on the grid according to predetermined odds; if the match card corresponds to a value selected by a player, the player loses any chips he/she may have placed on the corresponding chip positioning space of his/her players grid;    g. players to increase an existing wager;    h. determining another match card, taking bets and paying odds until either the match card equals the house card, or the house has won every wager.

 a. providing a playing surface; one or more decks of playing cards; a house card determining device; and wagering chips;    the playing surface being provided with a plurality of player grids and at least one dealer grid, each player and dealer grid containing a plurality of chip positioning spaces;    the house card determining device having means for generating a random house card in response to being activated by a dealer;    b. obtaining a determination of the house card using the house card determining device;    c. having the dealer mark the dealer grid by pacing an item in the space on the dealer grid that corresponds with the house card;    d. having each player place wagers for the hand wherein each wager is indicated by a player placing one or more chips on any chip positioning space;    e. pulling a card from the deck and comparing it to said house card in order to determine a match card;    f. the house taking and paying wagers according to the following format: should the match card equal the house card, the house pays each player for every wager the player has on the grid according to predetermined odds; if the match card corresponds to a value selected by a player, the player loses any chips he/she may have placed on the corresponding chip positioning space of his/her players grid;    g. allowing all players to increase an existing wager;    h. determining another match card and taking bets and paying odds until either the match card equals the house card, or the house has won every wager.

       4 . The method for playing a card game according to  claim 3  wherein if the match card equals the house card, odds are paid and the house may obtain a determination of said house card without said players removing said wagers.  
   
   
       5 . The method for playing a card game according to  claim 3  wherein the cards are randomized before the game.  
   
   
       6 . The method for playing a card game according to  claim 5  wherein the method of randomization is shuffling.  
   
   
       7 . The method for playing a card game according to  claim 3  wherein the cards are randomized during the game.  
   
   
       8 . The method for playing a card game according to  claim 7  wherein the method of randomization is by pulling a card from the deck but not played between each comparison.
