Blackjack variations

Abstract

A method and computer readable storage medium to play an improved variation of blackjack. The method includes (a) receiving an original wager for the blackjack game; (b) dealing a player's hand and a dealer's hand; (c) finishing the game; and (d) if the player's hand ties the dealer's hand then the player wins a payout from the original wager.

1 . A method of playing a blackjack game, the method comprising: receiving an original wager; receiving a side wager; dealing a player's two cards and a dealer's upcard; and if the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise a suited three of a kind, then paying the side wager a first amount.  
   
   
       2 . A method as recited in  claim 1 , further comprising if both player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise an unsuited three of a kind then paying the side wager a second amount.  
   
   
       3 . A method as recited in  claim 2 , further comprising if both the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard incorporate a suited pair then paying the side wager a third amount.  
   
   
       4 . A method as recited in  claim 3 , further comprising if both the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard incorporate an unsuited pair then paying the side wager a fourth amount.  
   
   
       5 . A method as recited in  claim 4 , wherein the first amount is 300, the second amount is 30, the third amount is 5, and the fourth amount is 2.  
   
   
       6 . A method as recited in  claim 4 , wherein the game is played with Spanish decks.  
   
   
       7 . A method as recited in  claim 6 , wherein the first amount is 150, the second amount is 20, the third amount is 5, and the fourth amount is 2.  
   
   
       8 . A method as recited in  claim 2 , further comprising if both the player's two cards comprise a suited pair then paying the side wager a third amount.  
   
   
       9 . A method as recited in  claim 8 , further comprising if both the player's two cards comprise an unsuited pair then paying the side wager a fourth amount.  
   
   
       10 . A method as recited in  claim 9 , wherein the first amount is 200, the second amount is 40, the third amount is 15, and the fourth amount is 8.  
   
   
       11 . A method as recited in  claim 9 , wherein the game is played with Spanish decks.  
   
   
       12 . A method as recited in  claim 11 , wherein the first amount is 250, the second amount is 40, the third amount is 15, and the fourth amount is 6.  
   
   
       13 . A method as recited in  claim 2 , further comprising if both player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise a colored three of a kind then paying the side wager a second amount.  
   
   
       14 . A method as recited in  claim 2 , further comprising if both player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise a mixed color three of a kind then paying the side wager a third amount.  
   
   
       15 . A method as recited in  claim 13 , further comprising if both player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise a mixed color three of a kind then paying the side wager a third amount.  
   
   
       16 . A method as recited in  claim 13 , further comprising if both the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise three suited cards then paying the side wager a fourth amount.  
   
   
       17 . A method as recited in  claim 14 , further comprising if both the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise three suited cards then paying the side wager a fourth amount.  
   
   
       18 . A method as recited in  claim 15 , further comprising if both the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise three suited cards then paying the side wager a fourth amount.  
   
   
       19 . A method as recited in  claim 18 , wherein the first amount is 500, the second amount is 100, the third amount is 25, and the fourth amount is 10.  
   
   
       20 . A method as recited in  claim 19 , wherein the game is played with Spanish decks.  
   
   
       21 . A method as recited in  claim 20 , wherein the first amount is 500, the second amount is 100, the third amount is 40, and the fourth amount is 8.

A method of playing a blackjack game, the method comprising: receiving an original wager; receiving a side wager; dealing a player's two cards and a dealer's upcard; if the player's two cards and the dealer's upcard comprise a colored three of a kind, then paying the side wager.
