Positioning device in base for securing motor of blowers
Abstract
A blower includes a base with a passage defined therethrough and a connection portion is located in the passage. A motor is received in the passage and includes a positioning frame which is fixed on the connection portion. A plurality of connection plates are fixed connected between inward protrusions extending from an inner periphery of the passage and the motor. A hood including an outlet is connected to an end of the base a fan device driven by the motor is received in the hood so that air generated by the fan device is sent from the outlet of the hood. The connection portion provides the motor a space between the floor where the base is put on and the motor.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A blower comprising:
a base with a passage defined therethrough so as to define two openings in two ends of the base, a connection portion located in the passage and a plurality of inward protrusions extending from an inner periphery of the passage; a motor assembly including a motor and a fan device which is driven by the motor, the motor being received in the passage and including a positioning frame which is fixed on the connection portion, a plurality of connection plates connected between the motor and the inward protrusions, and a hood connected to an end of the base and enclosing one of the two openings in the two ends of the base, the hood including an outlet.
2 . The blower as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two legs extend from an underside of each of the two ends of the base and a space is defined between the legs on the two ends of the base and the underside of the base.
3 . The blower as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a recess is defined between the two legs on each one of the two ends of the base and two engaging portions extend from a top on two ends of the base, the two engaging portions are sized to be engaged with the recesses.
4 . The blower as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the connection portion includes a groove defined in a top thereof so that a gap is defined between an inside of the groove and the motor.
5 . The blower as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a filter cap with a filter net is fixed to the other opening of the base.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
