Aid and golf club for facilitating learning how to play golf

Abstract

The invention relates to an aid ( 10 ) for facilitating learning how to play golf. This aid is attached to a golf club having a club head and shaft, and can be mounted on the club head or on the shaft of the golf club while being located in the vicinity of the club head. Said aid comprises a device ( 22 ) that redirects the image, which, starting from the device, can be viewed in the line of sight perpendicular to the leading edge of a striking surface of the club head, toward the head of a golf player who is using the aid. This device is fastened to the club by means of magnets.

An aid for facilitating the learning how to play golf being attachable to a golf club having a club head and shaft which can be attached to the club head or in the vicinity of the club head on the shaft of the golf club which is having an apparatus which redirects the image perceivable in the line of vision perpendicular to the front edge of a striking face of the club head of the apparatus in the direction to the head of a golf player using the aid and which is attachable by means of magnets on the club, wherein the apparatus is attached to the club by means of a connecting piece having joints which are enabling a pivoting of the apparatus around an axis parallel to a striking face of the club head and around an axis perpendicular to the front edge of a striking face of the club head.  
   
   
       2 . The aid according to  claim 1 , wherein the apparatus contains one or more reflective faces redirecting the image.  
   
   
       3 . The aid according to  claim 1 , wherein the apparatus contains a prism for redirecting the image.  
   
   
       4 . The aid according to  claim 3 , wherein the prism is a rectangular prism or a prism foil.  
   
   
       5 . The aid according to  claim 1 , wherein the apparatus contains a TV-camera oriented in a direction perpendicular to the front edge of a striking face of the club head and a TV-screen is positioned on the shaft of the club.  
   
   
       6 . The aid according to any of the  claim 1  further comprising a laser pointer.  
   
   
       7 . The aid according to  claim 1  wherein the apparatus has positioned therein a suitable cross-wire.

A golf club for facilitating the learning how to play golf having a club head and a shaft with an apparatus attached to the shaft of the club or integrated therein, redirecting the image perceivable in the line of vision perpendicular to the front edge of a striking face of the club head from the apparatus in the direction to the head of a golf player using the golf club, wherein the apparatus is attached to the club by means of a connecting piece containing joints which are enabling a pivoting of the apparatus around an axis parallel to a striking face of the club head and around an axis perpendicular to the front edge of a striking face of the club head.  
   
   
       9 . The golf club according to  claim 8 , wherein the apparatus contains one or more reflective faces redirecting the image.
