Pen with advertising means

Abstract

A hand held implement and a clip intended for use on a hand held implement with said clip including multiple lenticular images of graphical or imprinted material which may be alternatively viewed by tilting, rotating or otherwise moving the implement. The clip further includes a base plate upon which the lenticular imagery is affixed in the typical construction to create a unitized clip assembly. The combination of the lenticular image(s) and base plate may thereby contain and concurrently display two or more images or may be used to generate other special visual effects such as moving or three dimensional images.

1 . A clip for use with a hand held implement comprising: 
 a generally flat base plate, and lenticular imagery on an outwardly facing surface of the clip to create a multi image clip assembly.    
   
   
       2 . The clip of  claim 1 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is constructed of plastic.  
   
   
       3 . The clip of  claim 1 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is snap fitted onto the flat base plate surface.  
   
   
       4 . The clip of  claim 1 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is affixed onto the flat base plate surface by means of adhesive.  
   
   
       5 . The clip of  claim 1 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is embossed directly on the flat base plate surface.  
   
   
       6 . The clip of  claim 1 , wherein the wherein said clip assembly is permanently attached to the body of said hand-held implement.  
   
   
       7 . The clip of  claim 1 , wherein advertising or graphical material is depicted on the outwardly facing surface for the purpose of advertising or promotion.  
   
   
       8 . A method of advertising or promotion whereby advertising or graphical material is imprinted upon an outer surface of clip for use with a hand held implement comprising: 
 a generally flat base plate surface, and lenticular imagery on an outwardly facing surface of the clip to create a multi image clip assembly.    
   
   
       9 . An elongated handheld implement comprising: 
 a first elongated end and a second end; 
 said first end having a clip for attachment of the implement to another article;  
 said clip further including a generally flat base plate, with lenticular imagery on an outwardly facing surface of the clip to create a multi image clip assembly; and,  
 said second end being located opposite the first end and further including a tip.  
   
   
   
       10 . The implement of  claim 9  wherein the tip is retractable.  
   
   
       11 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein said hand-held implement is selected from the group consisting of a writing instrument, a laser pointer, a stylus pen, a multi-function writing instrument, a screwdriver, and a tire pressure gauge.  
   
   
       12 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the first end further includes a stylus tip.  
   
   
       13 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the second end further includes a stylus tip.  
   
   
       14 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is constructed of plastic.  
   
   
       15 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is snap fitted onto the flat base plate surface.  
   
   
       16 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is affixed onto the flat base plate surface by means of adhesive.  
   
   
       17 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the outwardly facing surface is embossed directly on the flat base plate surface.  
   
   
       18 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein the wherein said clip assembly is permanently attached to the body of said hand-held implement.  
   
   
       19 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein advertising or graphical material is depicted on the outwardly facing surface for the purpose of advertising or promotion, said material being viewable when the hand-held implement is within the user's garment pocket, is clasped to an anchoring point, or in the user's hand.  
   
   
       20 . The implement of  claim 9 , wherein advertising or graphical material is imprinted on at least one outer surface of the implement for the purpose of advertising or promotion.
