Abstract
A toy construction link for rubber band sculptures comprises two looped rubber bands, one that is folded onto itself across its midsection, and a second used to bind the first in such a way that three coupling loops are formed out of the first looped rubber band. Said link may be coupled to similar links to form a virtually infinite variety of rubber band sculptures.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . a toy construction link for rubber band sculptures; which link, being composed of rubber bands similar in size shape and elasticity to those commonly found in stores for office supplies, comprises two looped rubber bands, the first of which is folded onto itself across its midsection, and the second of which is used to bind the first looped rubber band across its folded length in such a way that three loops are formed, one loop near the midsection of the first looped rubber band where it is folded, and two loops at either end of the first looped rubber band that protrude from the folded section of the first looped rubber band where it is bound by the second looped rubber band; and which link, after being thus formed from looped rubber bands, manifestly retains the elastic character of its constituent rubber bands throughout its body.
