Cleaning kit for wet, damp, or dry cleaning

Abstract

A cleaning kit including a cleaning system ( 20 ) having a cleaning cloth or pad ( 28 ) is disclosed. The cleaning pad preferably has at least one nonwoven sheet ( 202 ) and a plurality of fibers ( 203 ) attached thereto. The cleaning cloth exhibits improved debris retention when a cleaning solution is used with the cleaning cloth. The cleaning system ( 20 ) includes a fluid reservoir ( 30 ) for holding the solution in communication with a cleaning tool ( 22 ) such that the fluid may be applied to a surface to be cleaned or directly to the cleaning cloth ( 28 ). Instructions for the system are preferably provided with the kit.

1 . A wet dusting kit comprising: 
 a cleaning solution; and    a cleaning cloth having at least one nonwoven sheet and a plurality of fibers attached thereto;    wherein the cleaning cloth exhibits improved debris pickup when the cleaning solution is used with the cleaning cloth.    
   
   
       2 . The kit of  claim 1 , further comprising instructions for applying the solution at a recommended dose with a pump onto a surface to be treated or onto the cleaning cloth and then moving the cleaning cloth across the surface to collect debris and the solution if the solution was applied directly to the surface.  
   
   
       3 . The kit of  claim 1 , wherein the cleaning solution aids the cloth in collecting and locking away dirt and dust.  
   
   
       4 . The kit of  claim 1 , wherein the cleaning solution is applied to a back surface of the cleaning cloth and allowed to move through the cloth via a wicking action.  
   
   
       5 . The kit of  claim 1 , wherein liquid is delivered to the cleaning cloth via a nozzle configured for spraying onto the cleaning cloth.  
   
   
       6 . A cleaning kit comprising: 
 a cleaning system including an implement having a handle portion;    an attachment member and a cleaning media attached to the attachment member; and    instructions for use of the implement.    
   
   
       7 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the kit includes a solution and cleaning media for surface cleaning and another solution and media for dusting.  
   
   
       8 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the attachment member has triangular shaped tabs projecting therefrom and wherein the member rotates in a horizontal direction; and wherein the cloth includes a fragrance additive.  
   
   
       9 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the attachment member attaches at one end of the implement and an aerosol package attaches at a second end.  
   
   
       10 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the attachment member of the cleaning system is in fluid communication with a cleaning fluid reservoir.  
   
   
       11 . The kit of  claim 6 , further comprising cleaning fluid that is discharged on the cleaning media when the attachment member is bent.  
   
   
       12 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein cleaning fluid is delivered near at least one of a tip, bottom, top or lateral sides of the attachment member.  
   
   
       13 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the instructions include pictures detailing an application of a spray.  
   
   
       14 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the instructions detail a dosing pattern.  
   
   
       15 . The kit of  claim 6 , further including a cleaning composition for use with the media that is a mild solution.  
   
   
       16 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the instructions include a) a wet dusting method using a cleaning solution that is distributed from a fluid reservoir; and b) an alternative dry dusting method that does not use a solution.  
   
   
       17 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the media includes a composition delivered via a pre-moistened cleaning pad.  
   
   
       18 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the instructions indicate that convenience and performance are enhanced by using a disposable duster.  
   
   
       19 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein various dusting tasks are carried out using several varying executions provided with the kit.  
   
   
       20 . The kit of  claim 6 , further including multiple cleaning pads and multiple solutions for different cleaning tasks.  
   
   
       21 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the kit is sold with advertising that explains the benefits of using.  
   
   
       22 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the instructions indicate that use of a fresh pad traps and removes germs and dirt to promote better hygiene.  
   
   
       23 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein operator-controlled dosing of the pad more efficiently removes of dirt and dust.  
   
   
       24 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the instructions combine a holding step of a fluid reservoir and a spraying step.  
   
   
       25 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the media is designed to clean at least one average size surface with an average debris.  
   
   
       26 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the attachment member is a non-movable piece allowing only surface spraying of the cleaning fluid.  
   
   
       27 . The kit of  claim 6 , wherein the attachment member moves in relation to the handle portion.  
   
   
       28 . A cleaning system having component parts comprising: 
 a dusting pad including a bundle of loose fibers;    a tool for holding the pad; and    a cleaning solution for use with a dusting pad and tool to increase dust adhesion to the dusting pad.    
   
   
       29 . The system of  claim 28 , wherein the system is part of a kit that indicates 1) the cleaning pad retains a greater amount of dust, 2) the cleaning solution removes fingerprints, and smudges, 3) a dusting solution is included.  
   
   
       30 . The system of  claim 28 , wherein the component parts of the system are sold together with instructions in the form of a cleaning kit.
