Abstract

This invention relates to a plant, seed, variety, inbred and hybrid. More specifically, the invention relates to plant having resistance to at least two herbicides. The invention also relates to methods of producing a hybrid plant and methods of producing a plant having resistance to at least two herbicides.

1 . A soybean, cotton or corn seed having a characteristic of resistance to glyphosate and ALS inhibitor herbicides.  
   
   
       2 . A plant produced by growing the seed of  claim 1 .

       8 . A method to produce a hybrid seed comprising crossing a first parent plant with a second parent plant and harvesting the resultant F1 hybrid seed, wherein said first or second parent plant is the plant of  claim 2 .  
   
   
       9 . A first generation (F1) hybrid plant produced by growing said hybrid seed of  claim 8 , wherein the hybrid plant comprises said resistance to glyphosate and ALS inhibitor herbicides.  
   
   
       10 . A progeny plant of the plant of  claim 9 , wherein the hybrid plant comprises said resistance to glyphosate and ALS inhibitor herbicides.

 (a) obtaining a plant according to  claim 2;  and    (b) treating said plant with ALS inhibitor or glyphosate herbicide in an amount effective to control weeds without injury to the plant.    
   
   
       54 . The method of  claim 53 , wherein step b) comprises treating the plant with both of said ALS inhibitor and glyphosate herbicides.  
   
   
       55 . The method of  claim 54 , wherein the plant is treated with a tank mix of said ALS inhibitor and glyphosate herbicides.  
   
   
       56 . The method of  claim 53 , wherein the glyphosate herbicide is ROUNDUP™ or ROUNDUP ULTRA™.  
   
   
       57 . The method of  claim 53 , wherein the ALS inhibitor herbicide is SYNCHRONY™ or RELIANCE™ herbicide.  
   
   
       58 . The method of  claim 53 , wherein the plant is a soybean plant.  
   
   
       59 . The method of  claim 53 , wherein the plant is a corn plant.
