Abstract

A toy configured to selectively transform between a folded mode and a spread mode, comprising of a cockpit; a front wheel assembly moveably coupled to the cockpit, the front wheel assembly including left and right front wheels, each having an inner side and an outer side, the left and right front wheels being substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and the left and right front wheels selectively pivoting relative the cockpit away from one another into the spread mode; and a rear wheel assembly moveably coupled to the cockpit, the rear wheel assembly including left and right rear wheels, each having an inner side and an outer side, the left and right rear wheels being substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and the left and right rear wheels selectively pivoting relative the cockpit away from one another into the spread mode; wherein the front left wheel, front right wheel, back left wheel, and back right wheel pivot independently of one another.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A toy configured to selectively transform between a folded mode and a spread mode, comprising:
a cockpit; a front wheel assembly moveably coupled to the cockpit, the front wheel assembly including left and right front wheels, each having an inner side and an outer side, the left and right front wheels being substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and the left and right front wheels selectively pivoting relative the cockpit away from one another into the spread mode; and a rear wheel assembly moveably coupled to the cockpit, the rear wheel assembly including left and right rear wheels, each having an inner side and an outer side, the left and right rear wheels being substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and the left and right rear wheels selectively pivoting relative the cockpit away from one another into the spread mode; wherein the front left wheel, front right wheel, back left wheel, and back right wheel pivot independently of one another.

2 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the inner-sides of the left and right front wheels and the left and right rear wheels face in substantially a same direction when in the spread mode.

3 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the rear wheel assembly is selectively moveable to change a wheelbase of the toy in vehicle mode.

4 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein in the spread mode the rear wheel assembly can be pivoted about at least two different axes relative to the cockpit.

5 . The toy of claim 1 , further comprising a trigger, wherein actuation of the trigger causes at least the front wheel assembly and the rear wheel assembly to separate.

6 . The toy of claim 1 , wherein the cockpit is configured to receive an action figure pilot in the folded mode and in the spread mode.

       7 . A toy cycle, comprising:
a cockpit assembly including a trigger; a front wheel assembly coupled to the cockpit; and a rear wheel assembly releasably coupled to the cockpit; wherein actuation of the trigger causes the rear wheel assembly to separate from the cockpit.

8 . The toy of claim 7 , wherein the front wheel assembly and the rear wheel assembly are transformable between a folded configuration and a spread configuration.

9 . The toy of claim 8 , wherein the front wheel assembly includes a left front wheel and a right front wheel and wherein the rear wheel assembly includes a left rear wheel and a right rear wheel, each of which include an inner side and an outer side.

10 . The toy of claim 9 , wherein the left and right rear wheels are substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode and the left and right rear wheels are substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and wherein the inner-sides of the left and right front wheels and the left and right rear wheels face in substantially a same direction when in the spread mode.

11 . The toy of claim 9 , wherein the front left wheel, front right wheel, back left wheel, and back right wheel pivot independently of one another.

12 . The toy of claim 7 , wherein the trigger is located at a front of the cockpit.

13 . The toy of claim 7 , wherein the rear wheel assembly is selectively moveable relative the cockpit assembly to change a wheelbase of the toy.

14 . The toy of claim 7 , wherein the cockpit assembly is configured to receive an action figure pilot.

15 . A toy configured to selectively transform between a folded motorcycle mode and a spread sky-diving mode, comprising:
a cockpit area; a front wheel assembly coupled to the cockpit area; a rear wheel assembly coupled to the cockpit area; where said cockpit area has a first set of hand grips positioned to be coupled to a figure when the toy is in the folded motorcycle mode and a second set of hand grips positioned outward from a center of said cockpit area relative to said first set of hand grips, said second set of hand grips further positioned to be coupled to said figure when the toy is in the spread sky-diving mode.

16 . The toy of claim 15 , wherein said cockpit area includes a trigger, where actuation of the trigger causes the rear wheel assembly to separate from the cockpit area.

17 . The toy of claim 16 , wherein actuation of said trigger causes said separation in both the folded motorcycle mode and the spread sky-diving mode.

18 . The toy of claim 15 , wherein said rear wheel assembly is slidably coupled to the cockpit area.

19 . The toy of claim 15 , wherein said cockpit area includes a seat, and said first set of hand grips are oriented on said cockpit in a different direction than said second set of hand grips.

20 . The toy of claim 15 , wherein said front wheel assembly includes left and right front wheels, each having an inner side and an outer side, the left and right front wheels being substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and the left and right front wheels selectively pivoting relative the cockpit away from one another into the spread mode; and said rear wheel assembly includes left and right rear wheels, each having an inner side and an outer side, the left and right rear wheels being substantially adjacent one another with the inner sides facing one another in the folded mode, and the left and right rear wheels selectively pivoting relative the cockpit away from one another into the spread mode; wherein the front left wheel, front right wheel, back left wheel, and back right wheel pivot independently of one another.
