Golf club charm identifiers

Abstract

The golf club charm identifiers are a set of customized icons for personalizing a set of golf clubs with head covers and identifying the covered clubs. Each icon is provided in a predetermined dimension and a predetermined shape having an aperture for receiving a connector, such as a split key ring and the like. Each icon may also have a predetermined color for further personalization and club identification. Each connector is attachable to a fabric loop affixed to a golf club cover. The icons personalize the covers and symbolize the underlying club in order to identify the covered club. Each icon is formed with a selected shape for personalization of a set of golf clubs and provides a non-numeric symbol objectively representing the underlying club. Charms identifying a club may be further personalized by having a pet name, a shape different from the rest, and the like.

1 . A set of golf club charm identifiers, comprising: 
 a plurality of icons, of which each icon has a predetermined dimension and a predetermined shape for personalizing a set of golf club head covers, each icon of the plurality of icons including an aperture for receiving a connector ring;    each icon of the plurality of icons further comprising at least one non-numeric symbol objectively representing a particular golf club; and,    a plurality of connector rings for connecting the icons to the golf club head covers, each ring being received in the aperture of the icon.    
   
   
       2 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the non-numeric symbol further comprises a representation of a particular golf course.  
   
   
       3 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the non-numeric symbol further comprises a representation of a player characteristic.  
   
   
       4 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the non-numeric symbol further comprises a representation of a cause.  
   
   
       5 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the cause comprises a charity drive.  
   
   
       6 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the cause comprises a political campaign.  
   
   
       7 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the player characteristic is a player ranking.  
   
   
       8 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the icons are formed of a metal material.  
   
   
       9 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the icons are formed of a plastic material.  
   
   
       10 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein the symbol is formed on the icon during molding.  
   
   
       11 . The set of golf club charm identifiers according to  claim 9 , wherein the symbols are formed on the icons by one of embossing, engraving and printing.  
   
   
       12 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the connector ring is a split ring.  
   
   
       13 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 9 , wherein the connector ring is a split ring.  
   
   
       14 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 10 , wherein the connector ring is a split ring.  
   
   
       15 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 11 , wherein the connector ring is a split ring.  
   
   
       16 . A set of golf club charm identifiers, comprising: 
 a plurality of icons of which each icon has a predetermined dimension and a predetermined shape for personalizing a set of golf club head covers, each icon including an aperture for receiving a connector ring;    each icon of the plurality of icons further comprising at least one non-numeric symbol representing a particular golf club;    at least one of the plurality of icons further comprising a different shape from the rest of the plurality of icons; and,    the non-numeric symbol of the at least one of the plurality of icons further comprising a pet name for the particular golf club.    
   
   
       17 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein the icons are formed of a metal material.  
   
   
       18 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 17 , wherein the symbol is formed on the icon by one of embossing, engraving, printing and stamping.  
   
   
       19 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein each icon of the plurality of icons has a predetermined color.  
   
   
       20 . The set of golf club charm identifiers as claimed in  claim 16 , wherein each icon of the plurality of icons has a predetermined color.
