Abstract

Urinal comprising a dish ( 10 ), which forms a urinal basin ( 12 ) having a drain passage ( 26 ) in its bottom, and a syphon trap ( 20 ) connected to the drain passage ( 26 ), characterised in that the dish ( 10 ) forms an essentially vertical wall ( 12 ) which separates the urinal basin ( 14 ) from a chamber ( 18 ) arranged behind the same, and in that the syphon trap ( 20 ) is arranged to be accessible from above in the chamber ( 18 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Urinal comprising a dish, which forms a urinal basin having a bottom and a drain passage in the bottom, and syphon trap connected to the drain passage, wherein the dish forms an essentially vertical wall which separates the urinal basin from a chamber arranged behind the same, and the syphon trap is arranged to be accessible from above in the chamber.

2 . Urinal according to claim 1 , wherein the wall has, in plan view, a convex shape bulging into the urinal basin.

3 . Urinal according to claim 2 , wherein the chamber is closed at its top end by a detachable lid.

4 . Urinal according to claim 3 , wherein the lid is adapted to be mounted to a building wall such that the vertical edges of the curved vertical wall engage the building wall, the top and lower edges of the vertical wall are beveled such that the chamber tapers towards the front, and the lower opening of the chamber is closed by a detachable lid.

5 . Urinal according to claim 1 , wherein the syphon trap is a waterless syphon trap.

6 . Urinal according to claim 5 , wherein the syphon trap is detachably, but fluid-tightly, inserted into an intermediate floor which, together with a rear wall and the vertical wall, forms a tub that extends higher than the edge of the urinal basin.

7 . Urinal according to claim 5 , wherein the syphon trap has a forced ventilation valve.

8 . Urinal according to claim 5 , wherein a storage tank for liquid and a dosage system for automatically dosing liquid into the syphon trap are arranged in the chamber.

9 . Urinal according to claim 5 , wherein the syphon trap contains a trap liquid to which a scent agent has been added.

10 . Urinal according to claim 5 , comprising a key adapted to be locked to the syphon trap, a top end of the key being connected to a lever through a joint, the key being so dimensioned that the lever can be supported on the top edge of the vertical wall of the dish, in order to lift the syphon trap upwardly by lever action.

11 . Urinal according to claim 5 , comprising a key adapted to be locked to the syphon trap, a top end of the key being connected to a lever through a joint, the key being so dimensioned that the lever can be supported on the top edge of the vertical wall of the dish, in order to lift a cover of the syphon trap upwardly by lever action.
