Abstract

A support device includes a post, a shaft, a seat and a driving member. The post has a top end that is formed with a through-hole extending in an axial direction. The shaft is mounted rotatably on the top end of the post, and extends in the axial direction through the through-hole in the top end of the post. The seat is mounted securely on the shaft so as to co-rotate with the shaft, and is adapted to support an object thereon. The driving member is mounted movably on the post, engages the shaft, and is operable so as to drive the shaft together with the seat to rotate to a desired angular position relative to the post.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A support device comprising:
a post having a top end that is formed with a through-hole extending in an axial direction; a shaft mounted rotatably on said top end of said post, extending in said axial direction through said through-hole in said top end of said post, and defining a rotation axis; a seat mounted securely on said shaft so as to co-rotate with said shaft and adapted to support an object thereon; and a driving member mounted movably on said post, engaging said shaft, and operable so as to drive said shaft together with said seat to rotate about said rotation axis to a desired angular position relative to said post.

2 . The support device of claim 1 , wherein said shaft has two opposite end portions and a middle portion that is disposed between said end portions and that is formed with a first thread, said driving member including a screw rod that extends into said post and that has a second thread which engages threadedly said first thread of said middle portion of said shaft such that rotation of said screw rod results in rotation of said shaft.

3 . The support device of claim 2 , wherein said seat includes a pair of rod members that are respectively mounted on said end portions of said shaft and that extend in a transverse direction relative to said shaft.

4 . The support device of claim 3 , wherein each of said rod members has a straight upper end and a lower hook end that is opposite to said straight upper end and that is adapted to support the object thereon.
