Abstract

The invention is a method of storing and using a flexible magnetic cutting board made from a flat, flexible, durable top layer adhered to a flat, flexible, multi-poled magnetic bottom layer comprising the steps of storing the cutting board on a magnetically attractive surface, removing and placing the cutting board on a horizontal surface, cutting food on the cutting board, lifting and bowing the cutting board to transport food to a receptacle.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method of food preparation using a flexible magnetic cutting board where the magnetic cutting board comprises a flat, flexible, durable top layer adhered to a flat, flexible, multi-poled magnetic bottom layer, which comprises the steps of
storing the magnetic cutting board on a magnetically attractive surface, removing the cutting board from the magnetically attractive surface, placing the cutting board on a horizontal surface so that the bottom layer of the cutting board rests on the horizontal surface, placing food on the top layer of the magnetic cutting board, using a kitchen knife to cut the food on the top layer of the magnetic cutting board, removing the cutting board and cut food from the horizontal surface, bowing the cutting board containing the cut food, transporting the bowed cutting board and food, sliding the cut food into a destination receptacle.

2 . The method of claim 1 where the cutting board is stored on a vertical magnetically attractive surface.

3 . The method of claim 1 where the cutting board is stored on a horizontal magnetically attractive surface.

4 . The method of claim 1 where the cutting board is stored on top of one or more flexible magnetic cutting boards to create a set of cutting boards.
