Abstract

A footrest of a chair includes a foot supporting part, and several fastening elements securely joined to a lower side of the foot supporting part; each of the fastening elements has two opposing lateral portions each having an inwardly-protruding portion; the footrest is fastened to a chair, which has several support legs at a lower end, with the fastening elements being passed onto respective ones of the support legs of the chair, and with the inwardly-protruding portions of the fastening elements being hooked over the support legs; thus, when one person is seated on the chair, he is allowed to rest his feet on the foot supporting part with his legs adjusted to a desired position.

1 . A footrest of a chair, comprising 
 a foot supporting part; and    a plurality of fastening elements joined to a lower side of the foot supporting part; each of the fastening elements having two opposing lateral portions each having an inwardly-protruding portion;    the footrest being fastened to a chair, which has plural support legs at a lower end thereof, with the fastening elements being passed onto respective ones of the support legs of the chair, and with the inwardly-protruding portions of the fastening elements being hooked over the support legs.    
   
   
       2 . The footrest of a chair as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the foot supporting part is a loop-shaped round rod, and surrounds the support legs of the chair.  
   
   
       3 . The footrest of a chair as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the foot supporting part is a semi-curved plate.  
   
   
       4 . The footrest of a chair as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the foot supporting part and the fastening elements have threaded holes, and the fastening elements are securely joined to the foot supporting part by means of passing threaded fixing elements through the threaded holes.
