Tee driver golf tee height regulator/installation tool and the method of operation for the same
Abstract
The TeeDriver is a device for placing a golf tee into the ground at a precise height, using a measuring scale. It is comprised of a handle which is ergonomic and can be round, oval or any shape. The shaft which holds the golf tee and is attached to the handle, has a slotted groove that is crescent or “U” shaped. The shaft can be 1 inch to 5 feet in height to accommodate golfers that do not want to bend over to place their tee into the ground. The rod of the TeeDriver is adjustable in height, using a thumb screw to tighten into place, and can very in length from ¼ inch to 6 inches in length. The foot, which is attached to the bottom of the rod, holds the golf tee in place with the rubber/neoprene groove until it has been placed in the ground at the specific height, at which point the TeeDriver can be removed, leaving the set tee in the ground.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . We claim: The TeeDriver is comprised of the following: a handle, shaft, measuring rod, tightening thumb screw, a foot that has a rubber/neoprene gasket/boot.
2 . We claim: A handle that is ergonomically made for easy handling.
3 . We claim: By using the tightening screw on the shaft, the measuring rod can be adjusted for ¼ inch to 6 inches and any length in between. Once the desired length is found, by tightening the thumb screw, the measuring rod will be held in place.
4 . We claim: By using the measuring scale on the adjustable rod, the desired tee height can be repeated indefinitely.
5 . We claim: By using the foot with the rubber/neoprene boot/gasket, the golf tee can be held and placed into the ground at the desired height.
6 . We claim: The boot/gasket made of rubber/neoprene will accommodate many different sizes of golf tee shafts while holding the golf tee firmly in the TeeDriver.
7 . We claim: A flat bottom of the foot allows for even and solid ground contact.
8 . We claim: A shaft, which contains a “U” shaped slot or groove, will hold the head of the golf tee into place.Cited by (0)
