Abstract
Paintball or non-lethal gun or marker apparatuses are disclosed to prevent projectiles from being inadvertently discharged from a paintball or other non-lethal gun or markers.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A multi-purpose barrel blocking assembly comprising:
a barrel of a non-lethal gun including a barrel connector disposed on an outer surface of the barrel and located near its distal end, and a barrel blocking member including a closed end, an open end, and a connector disposed at its open end, where the blocking member connector is adapted to detachably engage the barrel connector with sufficient connection force to resist at least ten non-lethal projectiles being inadvertently discharged from the gun when the blocking member is attached.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the connectors are threaded connectors.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the connectors are quick-connectors.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a light for indicating that the barrel blocking member is attached to the barrel.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising an end member including a connector designed to engage an end member connector on the closed end of the blocking member.
6 . A multi-purpose barrel blocking assembly comprising:
a barrel engaging member including a hollow tube having a distal end connector and a proximal end connector, and a barrel blocking member including a closed end, an open end, and an engaging member connector disposed at its open end, where the proximal connector of the engaging member is adapted to detachably engage the engaging member connector of the blocking member with sufficient connection force to resist at least ten non-lethal projectiles being inadvertently discharged from the gun when the blocking member is attached.
7 . The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the connectors are threaded connectors.
8 . The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the connectors are quick connectors.
9 . The apparatus of claim 6 , further comprising a light for indicating that the barrel blocking member is attached to the barrel.
10 . The apparatus of claim 6 , further comprising an end member including a connector designed to engage an end member connector on the closed end of the blocking member.
11 . A barrel for a non-lethal gun comprising:
a straight section, a distal end, a barrel blocking connector disposed on an outer surface of the barrel at near its distal end, a proximal end, and a proximal end connector disposed at or near the proximal end of the barrel, where the proximal end connector is adapted to detachably engage a corresponding connector of a handle/trigger part of a non-lethal gun and the barrel blocking connector is adapted to detachably engage a barrel blocking apparatus.Cited by (0)
