Abstract
An imaging device having a CMOS photosensor array for capturing images is described in which the array is also used to input programming and/or data used to control the imaging operations. The data-input can be based upon variations in light color, value, intensity, and patterning, or any combinations of the foregoing, for the download of information to the device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 29 . (canceled)
30 . An imaging system, comprising:
a computer system comprising at least one program; a monitor in communication with said computer system, said monitor structured to generate a first light emission corresponding to said at least one program; and a digital camera, comprising: a CMOS photosensor array structured to capture light input, said light input comprising images and said first light emission; a memory circuit in communication with said CMOS photosensor array and structured to store said at least one program as translated from said light emission; and an LED structured to generate a second light emission for illuminating a subject during imaging by said CMOS photosensor array.
31 . The imaging system of claim 30 , wherein said digital camera is incorporated within a pill device.
32 . The imaging system of claim 31 , wherein images captured by said CMOS photosensor array are stored by said memory circuit.
33 . The imaging system of claim 30 , wherein said first light emission corresponds to said at least one program by transitioning between a plurality of colors, each of said colors corresponding to information.
34 . The imaging system of claim 30 , wherein said first light emission corresponds to said at least one program by transitioning between a plurality of light intensities, wherein each said intensity corresponds to information.
35 . The imaging system of claim 30 , wherein said first light emission corresponds to said at least one program by displaying circles of color, each circle of color corresponding to information.
36 . The imaging system of claim 30 , wherein said first light emission corresponds to said at least one program by displaying columns of color, each said column of color corresponding to information.
37 . The imaging system of claim 30 , wherein said CMOS photosensor array is divided into segments, each segment being structured to capture a respective first light emission.
