Abstract
A process for producing an arched pane arrangement for a motor vehicle, using a flexible die ( 24 ), a plastic film ( 22 ) being pressed onto the arched glass pane ( 18 ) in order to form a film combination ( 26 ) and the film combination being subjected to heat treatment at an pressure which is below atmospheric pressure in order to laminate the plastic film onto the pane. The die ( 24 ) is thin glass or a metal foil with a layer thickness of less than 1 mm each.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Process for producing an arched pane arrangement for a motor vehicle, by means of a flexible die, comprising the steps of:
pressing a plastic film onto an arched glass pane in order to form a film combination and subjecting the film combination to heat treatment at a pressure which is below atmospheric pressure in order to laminate the plastic film onto the pane, wherein the die is formed of thin glass or a metal foil and has a layer thickness of less than 1 mm, and wherein the die is made of alkali-free thin glass which has been chemically hardened before use as a die.
2 . Process as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the die is thin glass which, before use, has been coated with a metal layer on the side facing the plastic film.
3 . Process as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the die is thin glass which, before use, has been coated with a nanocoating on the side facing the plastic film to prevent adhesion of the die to the plastic film and in order to enable lateral displacement of the die on the plastic film.
4 . Process as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the side of the die facing the plastic film is provided with an elastic coating.
5 . Process as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a nonadhesive layer that has a surface microstructure is inserted between the plastic film and the die to facilitate evacuation of air.
6 . Process as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the plastic film is stretched during heat treatment by a force being applied in the edge area of the plastic film.
7 . Process for producing an arched pane arrangement for a motor vehicle, by means of a die, comprising the steps of:
pressing a plastic film onto an arched glass pane to form a film combination, and subjecting the film combination to heat treatment at a pressure which is below atmospheric pressure to laminate the plastic film onto the pane, wherein the plastic film is stretched during heat treatment by force being applied in the edge area of the plastic film.
8 . Process as claimed in claim 7 , wherein, before heat treatment, the edges of the plastic film are clamped around the die, and wherein a stretching device presses an area of the film near the edge area into a recess in the die as a result of the pressure drop to pretension the film before heat treatment.
9 . Process for producing an arched pane arrangement for a motor vehicle, by means of a die, comprising the steps of:
pressing a plastic film onto an arched glass pane to form a film combination and subjecting the film combination to heat treatment at a pressure which is below atmospheric pressure to laminate the plastic film onto the pane, wherein the plastic film is placed on the die before pressure reduction and lamination.
10 . Process for producing an arched pane arrangement for a motor vehicle by means of a die, comprising the steps of:
pressing a plastic film onto an arched glass pane to form a film combination and subjecting the film combination to heat treatment at a pressure which is below atmospheric pressure to laminate the plastic film onto the pane, wherein the side of the die facing the plastic film is provided with an elastic coating.
11 . Process for producing an arched pane arrangement for a motor vehicle by means of a die, comprising:
pressing a plastic film onto the arched glass pane to form a film combination and subjecting the film combination to heat treatment at a pressure which is below atmospheric pressure to laminate the plastic film onto the pane, wherein before reducing the pressure, a nonadhesive layer provided with a surface microstructure is inserted between the plastic film and the die to facilitate air discharge between the die and the plastic film, the surface microstructure being fine enough not to show on the plastic film.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
