Abstract
An oil and vacuum pumps group ( 1 ) for a motor vehicle engine includes a motion transmission shaft ( 30 ) extending along a main axis X-X, an oil pump (10) and a vacuum pump ( 20 ) fitted on the motion transmission shaft and a gear ( 40 ) also fitted on the motion transmission shaft and adapted to derive a rotary motion from a driving gear ( 41 ) of a motor vehicle engine and to transfer said rotary motion to the motion transmission shaft to drive the oil pump and the vacuum pump. Advantageously, the oil and vacuum pumps group of the invention is structurally independent from and adapted to be associated with said motor vehicle engine. Preferably, the oil pump ( 10 ) and the vacuum pump ( 20 ) are units which are structurally independent from each other and the gear ( 40 ) of the oil and vacuum pumps group is operatively placed between the oil pump and the vacuum pump.

at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ), extending along a main axis X-X; at least one oil pump ( 10 ) fitted on said at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ); at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ) fitted on said at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ); a gear ( 40 ) fitted on said at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ) and adapted to derive a rotary motion from a driving gear ( 41 ) of a motor vehicle engine and to transfer said rotary motion to said at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ) to drive said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) and said at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ); characterized in that the group is structurally independent from and adapted to be associated with said motor vehicle engine.
2 . Oil and vacuum pumps group according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) and said at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ) are units which are structurally independent from each other.
3 . Oil and vacuum pumps group according to claim 1 , wherein said gear ( 40 ) is operatively placed between said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) and said at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ).
4 . Oil and vacuum pumps group according to any one of the claim 1 , wherein said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) is a single-stage or two-stage pump.
5 . Oil and vacuum pumps group according to claim 1 , comprising means ( 50 ) for the attachment to an engine block.
6 . Oil and vacuum pumps group according to claim 5 , wherein said means ( 50 ) for the attachment to an engine block comprises a plurality of brackets intended to cooperate with respective brackets formed on said engine block.
7 . Oil and vacuum pumps group according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) and said at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ) are fitted on a single motion transmission shaft ( 30 ).
8 . Method for assembling an oil and vacuum pumps group for a motor vehicle engine, comprising the steps of:
a) providing at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ); b) providing at least one oil pump ( 10 ); c) providing at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ); d) providing a gear ( 40 ); e) fitting said gear ( 40 ), said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) and said at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ) on said at least one motion transmission shaft ( 30 ); characterized in that the step (e) of fitting said gear, said at least one oil pump and said at least one vacuum pump on said at least one motion transmission shaft comprises the step of positioning said gear ( 40 ) between said at least one oil pump ( 10 ) and said at least one vacuum pump ( 20 ).
