Abstract

This invention discloses a method of increasing muscle mass comprising administering phospholipid arachidonic acid to a human in need thereof.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 8 . (canceled)

9 . An oral dosage form of phospholipid arachidonic acid comprising an amount of phospholipid arachidonic acid which is effective in increasing muscle mass.

10 . The oral dosage form of claim 9 , wherein the oral dosage form is selected from the group consisting of tablets, capsules, pills, troches, lozenges, and cachets.

11 . The oral dosage form of claim 9 , wherein the amount of phospholipid arachidonic acid effective in increasing muscle mass is between about 50 mg and 4,000 mg.

12 . The oral dosage form of claim 9 , wherein the phospholipid arachidonic acid is selected from the group consisting of phosphatidylcholine arachidonic acid, lysophosphatidylcholine arachidonic acid, and phosphatidylserine arachidonic acid.

13 . The oral dosage form of claim 9 , further comprising agents selected from the group consisting of diluents, preservatives, solubilizers, emulsifiers, and carriers.

         14 . (canceled)

         15 . (canceled)

16 . The oral dosage form of claim 10 , wherein the oral dosage form is in a controlled release form.
