Claims

Abstract

In an apparatus on a spinning machine for depositing fibre sliver, in which there is a delivery device for delivering fibre sliver and a substantially planar receiving support surface for receiving and collecting the fibre sliver in the form of a can-less fibre sliver package, the receiving support surface being substantially unenclosed, the receiving support surface and the delivery device being displaceable relative to one another, the receiving support surface being movable back and forth horizontally, and in which there is a device for displacing the collected fibre sliver in the form of a can-less fibre sliver package out of the depositing area. A storage device, for example a belt storage means, is provided for receiving at least one fibre sliver package, in which the at least one fibre sliver package is stably positionable.

1 . An apparatus in a spinning room for depositing fibre sliver and subsequently handling the deposited fibre sliver, having: 
 a spinning room machine having a delivery device for delivering fibre sliver, in a sliver depositing area, onto a receiving support having a substantially unenclosed receiving support surface to form sliver packages;    a displacement device for displacing the deposited fibre sliver in the form of a sliver package out of the depositing area; and    a belt storage device arranged to receive sliver packages displaced out of the depositing area, the sliver packages being stably positionable on the storage device.    
   
   
       2 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which the receiving support surface is horizontally reciprocable and the position of the delivery device is fixed.  
   
   
       3 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which at least the surface of the receiving support surface consists of a material that promotes sliding.  
   
   
       4 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which the movement of the fibre sliver package from the depositing area in the machine to said belt storage device is effected by means of the receiving support surface.  
   
   
       5 . An apparatus according to  claim 4 , in which, before and/or during the return displacement of the receiving support surface, the fibre sliver package is raisable relative to the receiving support surface.  
   
   
       6 . An apparatus according to  claim 4 , in which before and/or during the return displacement of the receiving support surface the receiving support surface is lowerable relative to the fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       7 . An apparatus according to  claim 4 , in which, when the fibre sliver package has been moved into a position on the belt storage device, the receiving support surface can be withdrawn under the fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       8 . An apparatus according to  claim 7 , in which during the withdrawal of the receiving support surface the fibre sliver package can be held in place by means of a retaining device.  
   
   
       9 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which, on the displacement of the fibre sliver package out of the machine onto the belt storage device, a side element can be moved together with the fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       10 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which, after the displacement of a fibre sliver package onto said belt storage device, the belt storage device loaded with said fibre sliver package is movable in a lateral direction for receiving a further fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       11 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which the belt storage device has a supporting element for supporting a said fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       12 . An apparatus according to  claim 11 , in which the supporting element comprises a supporting wall, rods or belt.  
   
   
       13 . An apparatus according to  claim 11 , in which the supporting element is associated with a side face of a first deposited fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       14 . An apparatus according to  claim 13 , in which the supporting element is mounted on a transport device that is associated with the belt storage device.  
   
   
       15 . An apparatus according to  claim 13 , in which the supporting element is inclinable by about from 5 to 10°.  
   
   
       16 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which a transport device associated with said belt storage device is inclinable.  
   
   
       17 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which, after deposition of a fibre sliver package on said belt storage device and/or a transport device receivable on the belt storage device, said belt storage device or the transport device is displaceable transversely to receive a further fibre sliver package.  
   
   
       18 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which a transport device receivable on said storage device loaded with deposited fibre sliver packages is exchangeable for a further transport device provided with empty storage positions.  
   
   
       19 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which a transport device receivable on the belt storage device can be displaced into and/or out of the region in which the fibre sliver is deposited by the delivery device.  
   
   
       20 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which, in respect of the or each fibre sliver package, the displacement in the machine and/or the discharge from the machine and/or the transport to a subsequent processing device or a storage means is effected without cans or containers for the sliver.  
   
   
       21 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , in which the deposited fibre sliver is discharged out of the depositing area on a substrate.  
   
   
       22 . An apparatus according to  claim 21 , in which the substrate for the deposited fibre sliver is associated with a conveyor device arranged outside the depositing area.  
   
   
       23 . An apparatus in a spinning room for depositing fibre sliver and subsequently handling the deposited fibre sliver, having: 
 a spinning room machine having a delivery device for delivering fibre sliver, in a sliver depositing area, onto a receiving support having a substantially unenclosed receiving support surface to form sliver packages;    a displacement device for displacing the deposited fibre sliver in the form of a sliver package out of the depositing area; and    at least one storage device for receiving at least one sliver package, the storage device being arranged for receiving the or each sliver package on displacement thereof out of the depositing area and the sliver package or packages being stably positionable on the storage device.    
   
   
       24 . An apparatus according to  claim 1 , comprising as a said storage device a storage device comprising a conveyor system.
