Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of a cosmetic composition containing compounds derived from polyguanidines or physiologically acceptable salts thereof for the protection of keratin fibres during permanent-shaping treatments or hair-straightening operations. The invention also relates to a cosmetic treatment process for permanently shaping or straightening keratin fibres, such that it consists in applying to these fibres a composition containing a compound derived from polyguanidines.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 14 . (canceled)
15 . A cosmetic composition, comprising the combination of a compound derived from polyguanidine of formula (I):
in which:
X, R 1 , R 2 and R 3 , independently of each other, are a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl radical or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated, optionally hydroxylated C 1 to C 16 alkyl radical,
Y denotes a radical NHR, in which R is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl radical or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated, optionally hydroxylated C 1 to C 16 alkyl radical,
A denotes a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated, C 1 to C 16 alkylene radical optionally substituted with at least one radical which is a hydroxyl, carboxyl or carboxylate radical or a halogen, the alkylene radical optionally containing at least one amine, ether, thioether, ester, amide, carbamate or urea function, a C 6 aryl or C 3 to C 8 cyclanyl ring optionally substituted with a C 1 -C 8 alkyl, hydroxyl or halogen; or A denotes one or more C 6 or C 7 aryl or C 5 to C 7 cyclanyl rings unsubstituted or substituted with a C 1 -C 8 alkyl, a hydroxyl group or a halogen; or A denotes a C 10 to C 14 polyaryl or C 6 to C 10 polycyclanyl chain, which may be interrupted with at least one C 1 to C 8 alkylene radical, an amine, amide, ether, thioether, a hydrogen atom, carbamate or urea function;
n is an integer between 2 and 5 000, or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof,
and a keratin-reducing compound or keratin-fixing compound.
16 . The cosmetic composition of claim 15 , wherein the optionally hydroxylated C 1 to C 16 alkyl radicals in the definition of X 1 , R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and Y are C 1 to C 8 alkyl radicals.
17 . The cosmetic composition of claim 15 , wherein the C 1 to C 16 alkylene radical in the definition of A is a C 1 to C 12 alkylene radical.
18 . The cosmetic composition of claim 15 , wherein the amide in the definition of A is —CONR— or —NRCO— in which R is hydrogen or a C 1 to C 8 alkyl radical.
19 . The cosmetic composition of claim 15 , wherein n is an integer between 2 and 200.
20 . The cosmetic composition of claim 15 , wherein the compound derived from polyguanidine is a polytetramethyleneguanidinium or polyhexamethyleneguanidinium salt.
21 . The cosmetic composition of claim 20 , wherein the polytetramethylene-guanidinium and polyhexamethyleneguanidinium salt is a halide, carboxylate or ampholytic internal salt with a guanidinium group in the chain.
22 . The cosmetic composition according to claim 21 , wherein the halide is a fluoride, chloride or bromide and the carboxylate is a gluconate, acetate or lactate.
23 . The cosmetic composition according to claim 21 , wherein the compound derived from polyguanidine is polyhexamethyleneguanidinium chloride, polytetramethyleneguanidinium chloride or polytetramethyleneguanidinium acetate.
24 . The cosmetic composition according to claim 15 , wherein the keratin-reducing compound is a sulphite or bisulphite.
25 . The cosmetic composition according to claim 24 , wherein the reducing compound is a thiol, cysteamine or its derivatives, thiolactic acid or its esters, or thioglycolic acid or its esters.
26 . The cosmetic composition according to claim 25 , wherein the thiol is cysteine or its derivatives.Cited by (0)
