Abstract
The invention provides isolated polypeptide and nucleic acid sequences derived from Streptococcus pneumoniae that are useful in diagnosis and therapy of pathological conditions; antibodies against the polypeptides; and methods for the production of the polypeptides. The invention also provides methods for the detection, prevention and treatment of pathological conditions resulting from bacterial infection.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO: 5225.
2 . A polypeptide having at least 99% identity to SEQ ID NO: 5225, wherein the polypeptide provides protective immunity against an infection by S. pneumoniae.
3 . A polypeptide having at least 99% identity to SEQ ID NO: 5225, wherein the polypeptide elicits an immune response to an infection by S. pneumoniae.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
