Information playback system using storage information medium

Abstract

According to one embodiment, there is provided an information playback method, comprising reading out management information used to manage one or more video titles from an information storage medium, the medium storing an advanced content including the management information in which a title timeline indicating playback timings of objects of each video title being individually defined, and playing back objects of each video title in accordance with the title timeline defined in the readout management information.

 an information reading unit to read out management information used to manage a video title from an information storage medium, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title; and    an object playback unit to play back the various kinds of objects of the video title in accordance with the readout management information.

 reading out management information used to manage a video title from an information storage medium, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title; and    playing back the various kinds of objects of the video title in accordance with the readout management information.

 an information acquiring unit to acquire management information used to manage a video title, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title; and    an information recording unit to record the acquired management information in an information storage medium.

 acquiring management information used to manage a video title, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title; and    recording the acquired management information in an information storage medium.    
   
   
       6 . An information transfer method, comprising: 
 transferring management information used to manage a video title, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title; and    recording the transferred management information in an information storage medium.    
   
   
       7 . An information processing system, comprising: 
 an information acquiring unit to acquire management information used to manage a video title via a network, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title;    an information storing unit to store the acquired management information in an information storage medium; and    an information playback unit to play back the various kinds of objects of the video title in accordance with the stored management information.    
   
   
       8 . An information processing method, comprising: 
 acquiring management information used to manage a video title via a network, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title;    storing the acquired management information in an information storage medium; and    playing back the various kinds of objects of the video title in accordance with the stored management information.    
   
   
       9 . An information display method, comprising: 
 acquiring management information used to manage a video title via a network, the management information including information items for managing various kinds of objects of the video title; and    displaying the various kinds of objects of the video title in accordance with the acquired management information.
