Multiple winners card game, game board and method for play
Abstract
A wagering game, method of play, and game board used with cards and dice, is described. The easy to play game provides for one or more players to bet and win on one or more possible outcomes and may be suitable for children's play. The game provides players the option of playing against the house or against one another. Bets are made on desired potential winning hands printed on the board surface. Players dealt cards that match the bet on hand win that pot. If desired, potential winning hands identities may be changed during play also providing for the basic game board to be used to play a variety of games. The game board is available in various shapes, sizes, and materials and may be folded. Dice may be used to decide winning hands and accessory bet identifiers may be used to establish minimum bets per hand.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A game board for playing a wagering card game in conjunction with a deck of cards, said game board comprising:
a) a playing surface having a plurality of identity spaces for identifying potential winning card hands, b) a potential winning card hand identified on each of said plurality of potential winning card hands identity spaces, wherein each of one or more players places a bet on one or more said identity spaces, wherein each of the players is dealt a predetermined number of cards, and wherein one or more of the players wins the bets when dealt cards including one or more of the identified potential winning card hands on which said player bet.
2 . The game board, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising;
a) at least two dice each having a plurality of identity faces, said plurality of identity faces identifying a plurality of potential winning card hands, wherein the player dealt a dice card may roll said pair of dice, wherein when each of said rolled dice roll the same potential winning card hand on which said player bet said player wins bets bet on said potential winning card hand.
3 . The game board, as recited in claim 2 , further comprising wherein said potential winning hands identifying spaces may identify as potential winning hands:
i) a high pair, wherein the player dealt the high pair wins the high pair bet; ii) a marriage, a marriage, i.e., a king and queen of the same suit, wherein the player dealt a king and queen of a same suit wins the marriage bet; iv) a three of a kind, wherein the player dealt three cards of one kind wins the three of a kind bet; iv) a blackjack, wherein the player dealt an ace card with the black jack wins the blackjack bet; v) a flush or straight, wherein the player dealt the flush or the straight wins the flush or straight bet; vi) a joker, wherein the player dealt the joker card wins the joker bet; vii) an identified pair, wherein the player dealt the identified pair wins the identified pair bet and identifies a next pair to be the identified pair; viii) a small straight of the same suit, wherein the player dealt the small straight wins the small straight bet; ix) a joker/dice, wherein the player dealt both a joker card and a dice card wins the joker/dice pay-off and is eligible to roll the dice in an attempt to win another bet, and x) a four of a kind, wherein the player dealt the four of a kind wins all bets on the board.
4 . The game board, as recited in claim 3 , comprising potential winning hands identifying spaces identifying potential winning hands required to play the game High Spade Poker:
i) a high spade, wherein the player dealt the high spade wins the high spade bet; ii) a high pair containing a spade or the high spade is the winner in the event more than one player is dealt a high pair; iii) a marriage, i.e., a king and queen of the same suit; iv) a blackjack, if two players are dealt an ace card with the black jack, the player with a spade jack wins the blackjack bet; v) a flush or straight, wherein if more than one player is dealt the flush or the straight, the player with a spade hand wins the flush or straight bet, unless no player has a spade flush or straight then the high straight/flush wins; vi) an identified pair, wherein if two players are dealt the identified pair the player with the spade wins the identified pair bet and identifies the next pair to be the identified pair; vii) a small straight of the same suit, wherein if more than one player is dealt the straight, a spade straight wins the small straight bet, unless there is no spade straight, then a high straight wins.
5 . The game board, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising wherein accessory pieces identifying potential winning hands not identified on said identity spaces are used to change the identity of the identified potential game winning hands.
6 . The game board, as recited in claim 5 , further comprising wherein the identity of potential winning hands may be changed when and by a player who has just won one or more of the identified potential game winning hands.
7 . The game board, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising side-bets:
wherein prior to the first hand dealt, a number card is chosen from the deck of cards in a club, diamond, or heart suit to become an identified side-bet with said bets available only to players who bet on said side-bet identified on said identity space.
8 . The game board, as recited in claim 7 , further comprising wherein if no player is dealt a card identified as the side-bet, the side-bet bet continues until it is won.
9 . The game board, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising wherein said game board is foldable.
10 . A method of playing a wagering card game utilizing a game board in conjunction with a deck of cards, comprising the steps of:
a) providing for a game board playing surface having a plurality of identity spaces for identifying potential winning card hands, b) identifying a potential winning card hand on each of said plurality of potential winning card hands identity spaces, c) placing bets on one or more said identity spaces by each of one or more players, and d) dealing each player a predetermined number of cards, and wherein one or more of the players wins the bets when dealt cards including one or more of the identified potential winning card hands on which said player bet.
11 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , further comprising:
a) providing at least two dice each having a plurality of identity faces, said plurality of identity faces identifying a plurality of potential winning card hands, wherein the player dealt a dice card may roll said pair of dice, wherein when each of said rolled dice roll the same potential winning card hand on which said player bet said player wins bets bet on said potential winning card hand.
12 . The method, as recited in claim 11 , further comprising wherein said potential winning hands identifying spaces may identify as potential winning hands:
i) a high pair, wherein the player dealt a highest pair wins the high pair bet; ii) a marriage, i.e., a king and queen of the same suit; iv) a three of a kind, wherein the player dealt three cards of one kind wins the three of a kind pay-off; iv) a blackjack, wherein the player dealt an ace card with a black jack wins the blackjack bet; v) a flush or straight, wherein the player dealt a flush or a straight wins the flush or straight bet; vi) a joker, wherein the player dealt a large joker card wins the joker bet; vii) an identified pair, wherein the player dealt an identified pair wins the identified pair bet and identifies the next pair to be the identified pair; viii) a small straight of the same suit, wherein the player dealt a small straight wins the small straight bet; ix) a joker/dice, wherein the player dealt both a joker card and the dice card wins the joker/dice bet and is eligible to roll the dice in an attempt to win another bet, and x) a four of a kind, wherein the player dealt four of a kind wins all bets on the board.
13 . The method, as recited in claim 12 , further comprising potential winning hands identifying spaces identifying potential winning hands that are required to play the game High Spade Poker:
i) high spade, wherein the player dealt the high spade wins the high spade bet; ii) a high pair, in the event more than one player is dealt the high pair, the pair that contains a spade or a high spade wins the high pair bet; iii) a marriage, i.e., a king and queen of the same suit; iv) a blackjack, if two players are dealt an ace card with the black jack, the player with a spade jack wins the blackjack bet; v) a flush or straight, wherein if more than one player is dealt the flush or the straight, the player with a spade hand wins the flush or straight pay-off, unless no player has a spade flush or straight then the players will split the bet; vi) an identified pair, wherein if two players are dealt the identified pair the player with the spade wins the identified pair bet and identifies the next pair to be the identified pair, and vii) a small straight of the same suit, wherein if more than one player is dealt the straight, a spade straight wins the small straight bet, unless there is no spade straight, then a high straight wins.
14 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , further comprising wherein accessory pieces identifying potential winning hands not identified on said identity spaces are used to change the identity of the identified potential game winning hands.
15 . The method, as recited in claim 14 , further comprising wherein the identity of potential winning hands identified on said identity spaces may be changed by a player who has just won one or more of the identified potential game winning hands.
16 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , further comprising side-bets:
wherein prior to the first hand dealt, a number card is chosen from the deck of cards in a club, diamond, or heart suit to become an identified side-bet with said bets available only to players who bet on said identified side-bet.
17 . The method, as recited in claim 16 , further comprising wherein if no player is dealt a card identified as the side-bet, the side-bet bet continues until it is won.

19 . A wagering card game to be played in with a game board in conjunction with a deck of cards, said game board comprising:
a) a playing surface having a plurality of identity spaces for identifying potential winning card hands, b) a potential winning card hand identified on each of said plurality of potential winning card hands identity spaces, wherein each of one or more players places a bet on one or more said identity spaces, wherein each of the players is dealt a predetermined number of cards, and wherein one or more of the players wins the bets when dealt cards including one or more of the identified potential winning card hands on which said player bet.
20 . The wagering card game, as recited in claim 19 , further comprising;
at least two dice each having a plurality of identity faces, said plurality of identity faces identifying a plurality of potential winning card hands, wherein the player dealt a dice card may roll said pair of dice, wherein when each of said rolled dice roll the same potential winning card hand on which said player bet said player wins bets bet on said potential winning card hand.
21 . The wagering card game, as recited in claim 20 , further comprising wherein said potential winning hands identifying spaces identify as potential winning hands:
i) a high pair, wherein the player dealt the high pair wins the high pair bet; ii) a marriage, i.e., a king and queen of the same suit; iv) a three of a kind, wherein the player dealt three cards of one kind wins the three of a kind bet; iv) a blackjack, wherein the player dealt an ace card with the black jack wins the blackjack bet; v) a flush or straight, wherein the player dealt the flush or the straight wins the flush or straight bet; vi) a joker, wherein the player dealt a large joker card wins the joker bet; vii) an identified pair, wherein the player dealt the identified pair wins the identified pair bet and identifies the next pair to be the identified pair; viii) a small straight, wherein the player dealt the small straight wins the small straight bet; ix) a joker/dice, wherein the player dealt both a joker card and a dice card wins the joker/dice pay-off and is eligible to roll the dice in an attempt to win another bet, and x) a four of a kind, wherein the player dealt the four of a kind wins all bets on the board.
22 . The wagering card game, as recited in claim 21 , further comprising the rules for High Spade Poker, which further comprises wherein said identifying spaces may identify the potential winning hands required to play the game High Spade Poker:
i) a high spade, wherein the player dealt the high spade wins the high spade bet; ii) a high pair, in the event more than one player is dealt the high pair, the pair that contains a spade or a high spade wins the high pair bet; iii) a marriage, i.e., a king and queen of the same suit; iv) a blackjack, if two players are dealt an ace card with the black jack, the player with a spade jack wins the blackjack bet; v) a flush or straight, wherein if more than one player is dealt a flush or a straight, the player with a spade hand wins the flush or straight bet, unless no player has a spade flush or straight then the players will split the bet; vi) an identified pair, wherein if two players are dealt the identified pair the player with the spade wins the identified pair bet and identifies the next pair to be the identified pair, and vii) a small straight of the same suit, wherein if more than one player is dealt said straight, a spade straight wins the small straight bet, unless there is no spade straight, then a higher straight wins.
23 . The game, as recited in claim 19 , further comprising wherein accessory pieces identifying potential winning hands not identified on said identity spaces are used to change the identity of the identified potential game winning hands.
24 . The game, as recited in claim 23 , further comprising wherein the identity of potential winning hands identified on said identity spaces may be changed by a player who has just won one or more of the identified potential game winning hands.
25 . The game, as recited in claim 19 , further comprising side-bets:
