Garbage bag cover

Abstract

A cover for one or more garbage bags comprising a bag made of material selected for its ability to deter pests including crows and seagulls. The bag has an open end that is provided with a drawstring, the drawstring being provided with a tightening device to permit a person to tighten the drawstring around the lower part of the garbage bags. The tightening device releases the drawstring as the bag is lifted from the garbage bag.

A cover for one or more garbage bags comprising a bag made of material selected for its ability to deter pests including crows and seagulls, said bag having an open end that is provided with a drawstring, said drawstring being provided with a tightening device to permit a person to tighten said drawstring around the lower part of said garbage bags, said tightening device releasing said drawstring as said bag is lifted from said garbage bag.  
   
   
       2 . A cover as claimed in  claim 1 , made from a net material.  
   
   
       3 . A cover as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said net has a maximum mesh size of about an inch.  
   
   
       4 . A cover as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein said drawstring tightener comprises a short length of plastic tubing.  
   
   
       5 . A cover as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein said drawstring tightener comprises a short length of plastic tubing.  
   
   
       6 . A cover as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein said drawstring tightener comprises a short length of plastic tubing.
