Modular framing system
Abstract
Disclosed is a framing system devised to fit around cables and conduits entering into a concrete structure via an opening through which one wants to pour concrete. The system includes angle-bars, modules fitting into each other and panels. In practice, one incorporates the anchor sleeves in the concrete structure on two opposite sides of the opening where the cables or conduits extend. The angle-bars are then connected to these anchor sleeves. The modules which have recesses adapted to the geometry and size of the cables or conduits, are subsequently attached to the angle-bars. After the cables or conduits are covered with plastic tubes, the panels may be installed outside the structure to complete the framing and concrete may be injected through the opening.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A framing system devised to fit around elements entering into a concrete structure via an opening through which one wants to pour concrete, said system comprising:
angle-bars attachable to two opposite sides of the opening inside the concrete structure, said angle-bars having tongues; modules fittable into each other to cover the whole opening, said modules engaging the angle-bars and being held in place by the tongues of said angle-bars, one or more of said modules comprising recesses adapted to the geometry and the size of the elements entering into the structure to fit on them; and panels intended to be installed outside of the concrete structure to complete the framing and allow pouring of the concrete.
2 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein each of said modules comprises a panel connected to a support system and wherein said recesses provided in said modules are located in the panels of said modules and each have a semi-circular shape.
3 . The system according to claim 1 , further comprising blocking means added to the tongues of the angle-bars to fix the modules to said angle-bars.
4 . The system according to claim 2 , further comprising blocking means added to the tongues of the angle-bars to fix the modules to said angle-bars.
5 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are cables mounted inside non-conducting waterproof tubes.
6 . The system according to claim 2 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are cables mounted inside non-conducting waterproof tubes.
7 . The system according to claim 3 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are cables mounted inside non-conducting waterproof tubes.
8 . The system according to claim 4 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are cables mounted inside non-conducting waterproof tubes.
9 . The system according to claim 1 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are conduits.
10 . The system according to claim 2 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are conduits.
11 . The system according to claim 3 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are conduits.
12 . The system according to claim 4 , wherein the elements entering into the structure are conduits.
13 . A method for installing a framing around elements entering in a concrete structure via an opening through which one wants to pour concrete, comprising the steps of:
a. inserting anchoring means into two opposite sides of the opening through which the elements enter into the concrete structure; b. installing angle-bars having tongues on said two opposite sides of the opening inside the concrete structure by means of said anchoring means; c. installing modules fitting into each other to cover the whole opening, said modules engaging the angle-bars and being held in place by the tongues of said angle-bars, one or more of said modules comprising recesses adapted to the geometry and the size of the elements to fit on them; d. covering the elements which are not conduits with non-conducting waterproof tubes; e. installing bell shaped components around the elements covered with a tube, said components being made of a non-conducting waterproof material and having a broad part that is pressed on the corresponding module; f. installing panels outside the concrete structure to complete the framing; g. pouring concrete in the framing that is so completed; and h. dismounting the modules, the angle-bars and the panels which are outside the concrete structure.
14 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein in step c, the modules are fixed to the angle-bars by blocking means fitting to the tongues.
15 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein in step g, the concrete is poured through the opening.
16 . The method according to claim 14 , wherein in step g, the concrete is poured through the opening.
17 . The method according to claim 13 , comprising the additional step of pouring concrete around the exposed elements outside of the concrete structure in order to coat said elements.
18 . The method according to claim 14 , comprising the additional step of pouring concrete around the exposed elements outside of the concrete structure in order to coat said elements.
19 . The method according to claim 15 , comprising the additional step of pouring concrete around the exposed elements outside of the concrete structure in order to coat said elements.
