Abstract

An armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair comprises a base, a backrest, at least two armrests and two rail members. The base is formed with a space. The backrest is pivoted on the base and located correspondingly to the space of the base. The armrests are pivoted to the base, and lower end of each of the armrests is located correspondingly to the space of the base. The rail members are mounted at the lower end of the armrests or the backrest and located in the space of the base, on each of the rail members is formed a slot that is used to rotate the armrests when the backrest is adjusted.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair comprising a base, a backrest, at least two armrests and two rail members;
 wherein the base is formed with a space; the backrest is pivoted on the base and located correspondingly to the space of the base; the armrests are pivoted to the base, and lower end of each of the armrests is located correspondingly to the space of the base; and the rail members are mounted at the lower end of the armrests or the backrest and located in the space of the base, on each of the rail members is formed a slot that is used to rotate the armrests when the backrest is adjusted.

       2 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 1 , wherein
 the base is fixed to a bottom of the massage chair and is set firmly on the ground, the base includes a narrow first rack and a wide second rack, the first rack is located within the second rack, and the space is formed between the first and second racks; the backrest is pivoted to the first rack of the base, and at both sides of the lower end of the backrest are coaxially arranged two pivotal shafts; the armrests are pivoted to the second rack; and the rail members each is formed with the slot for insertion of the pivotal shafts, and the slot is used to rotate the armrests by cooperating with rotation of the pivotal shafts.

       3 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 2 , wherein an extending rack is mounted on each of the pivotal shafts at both sides of the lower end of the backrest.

       4 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 3 , wherein a retainer is mounted on each of the pivotal shafts at both sides of the lower end of the backrest, and the slot of the rail members is provided for insertion of the pivotal shafts, and then the pivotal shafts are moveably confined in the slot of the rail members by the retainer.

       5 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the armrests each includes a support portion, a pivot and two positioning cylinders sequentially mounted on an armrest rack in a top down manner, and the armrests are pivoted on the base by the pivot and a slide sleeve.

       6 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a positioning board, a partition board and a base board are arranged sequentially beneath a support portion, in the positioning board and the partition board are formed a plurality of slide tracks that are arranged in a crisscross pattern, with the crisscrossed slide tracks, the support portion can be adjusted to different positions in response to tilt angle adjustment of the backrest, to support the user's arm.

       7 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 6 , wherein each of the crisscrossed slide tracks is in the form an elongated hole, on the partition board and the base board are formed a plurality of protrusions to be moveably inserted in the slide tracks, the support portion is positioned on the armrest via the slide tracks, and the user can use the crisscrossed slide tracks to make the positioning board, the partition board and the base board move relative to one another, so that the support portion can be adjusted to different positions to support the user's arm.

       8 . The armrest and backrest synchronous adjustment device for a massage chair as claimed in claim 6 , wherein each of the crisscrossed slide tracks is in the form a slide rod arranged at the upper and lower sides of the partition board, in the positioning board and the base board are formed a plurality of holes for insertion of the slide tracks, the support portion is positioned on the armrest via the slide tracks, and the user can use the crisscrossed slide tracks to make the positioning board, the partition board and the base board move relative to one another, so that the support portion can be adjusted to different positions to support the user's arm.
