Abstract
Disclosed is a strand composite board comprising: lignocellulosic strands containing about 25 wt % to about 75 wt % bamboo strands, about 25 wt % to about 75 wt % cedar strands, and an isocyante binder resin.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A strand composite board comprising:
lignocellulosic strands containing about 25 wt % to about 75 wt % bamboo strands, about 25 wt % to about 75 wt % cedar strands, and an isocyante binder resin.
2 . The strand composite board according to claim 1 , wherein the isocyante binder resin is MDI.
3 . The strand composite board according to claim 1 , wherein the strand composite board is OSB.
4 . The strand composite board according to claim 1 , wherein the isocyante binder resin is MDI, and the MDI is present at a concentration of about 2 wt % to about 12 wt % (based on the weight of the lignocellulosic strands).
5 . A strand composite board having an upper surface, a lower surface and a core layer, the upper surface and lower surface of lignocellulosic strands substantially oriented in a first direction and the core layer lignocellulosic strands oriented in a second direction, wherein the first direction is substantially different from the second direction; and wherein the lignocellulosic strands contain about 25 wt % to about 75 wt % bamboo strands, and about 25 wt % to about 75 wt % cedar strands, and wherein the strand composite board further comprises an isocyante binder resin.
6 . The strand composite board according to claim 5 , wherein the isocyante binder resin is MDI.
7 . The strand composite board according to claim 5 , wherein the isocyante binder resin is MDI, and the MDI is present at a concentration of about 2 wt % to about 12 wt % (based on the weight of the lignocellulosic strands).Cited by (0)
