Abstract

The invention concerns the use of ketol-acid reductoisomerase inhibitors for treating fungal diseases affecting crops. The invention concerns methods for treating crops against fungal diseases comprising applying a ketol-acid reductoisomerase inhibitor. The invention also concerns methods for identifying novel fungicidal compounds comprising a step which consists in identifying ketol-acid reductoisomerase inhibitors.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for treating crops against fungal diseases, comprising applying a fungicidal composition comprising an effective amount of a ketol-acid reductoisomerase inhibitor, wherein the ketol-acid reductoisomerase is selected from the group consisting of: SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:2 and SEQ ID NO:3.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the ketol-acid reductoisomerase inhibitor is dimethylphosphinoyl-2-hydroxyacetate.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the ketol-acid reductoisomerase inhibitor is N-hydroxy-N-isopropyloxamate.
