Abstract
A method for making a dishwasher includes providing a wash chamber receivable in a housing. The wash chamber includes a left side part capable of having a first functional component disposed thereon, a right side part capable of having second functional component disposed thereon, and a first middle part disposed between the left and right side parts and capable of having a spray device disposed thereon. At least one intermediate part is disposed between the first middle part and at least one of the left and right side parts so as to provide a dishwasher having a desired width.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for making a dishwasher, the method comprising:
providing a wash chamber receivable in a housing and including a left side part capable of having a first functional component disposed thereon, a right side part capable of having second functional component disposed thereon, and a first middle part disposed between the left and right side parts and capable of having a spray device disposed thereon; and disposing at least one intermediate part between the first middle part and at least one of the left and right side parts so as to provide a dishwasher having a desired width.
2 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the dishwasher has a drawer-type construction.
3 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the first and second functional components include at least one of a water inlet, an appliance control system, and a water softening system.
4 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the providing a wash chamber is performed so as to provide only one first middle part so as to provide the dishwasher with a relatively small desired width.
5 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the at least intermediate part includes a first and a second intermediate part, and wherein the disposing is performed so as to dispose the first intermediate part between the middle part and the left side part and the second intermediate part between the middle part and the right side part.
6 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the wash chamber includes a second middle part disposed thereon, and wherein the disposing is performed so as to dispose the first middle part between the at least one intermediate part and the left side part and the second middle part between the at least one intermediate part and the right side part.
7 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the middle part, left side part, right side part, and at least one intermediate part have a same depth.
8 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the at least one middle part includes a wall element capable of having a third functional component disposed thereon, the third functional component including at least one of a spray arm support, a sump, a screen, a dispensing device and a control system.
9 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the wash chamber includes a respective pull-out guide assembly runner disposed at each of the first and second side parts.
10 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the first and second functional components include at least one of a water outlet, a power supply and a drying system for the washing chamber.
11 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the first and second functional components include at least one of a salt container and a resin container.
12 . The method as recited in claim 1 wherein the middle part, left side part, right side part, and at least one intermediate part include at least one of a plastic material and stainless steel.Cited by (0)
