Abstract
An inline paddle fishing boat from which two people can fish from either side or from the same side of the boat while using their feet to move the boat in the water, and which is easily transported on land. These advantages are achieved by an inline seating arrangement, and by a wheel-type rudder.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An inline paddle fishing boat, comprising:
a boat having a bow, a stern, a midsection between the bow and the stern, and a longitudinal axis; a first paddle wheel at the bow of the boat, for propelling the boat; a first set of pedals at the bow of the boat, for rotating the first paddle wheel; a first seat at the midsection of the boat, for a first person to be seated while using the first set of pedals to rotate the first paddle wheel; a second paddle wheel at the midsection of the boat, for propelling the boat; a second set of pedals at the midsection of the boat, for rotating the second paddle wheel; and a second seat at the stern of the boat, for a second person to be seated while using the second set of pedals to rotate the second paddle wheel, the first and second seats being disposed one behind the other along the longitudinal axis of the boat.
2 . The inline paddle fishing boat of claim 1 , further comprising:
a storage compartment for storing fish, the storage compartment being disposed between the first paddle wheel and the first seat.
3 . The inline paddle fishing boat of claim 1 , further comprising: a storage compartment for storing fish, the storage compartment being disposed between the second paddle wheel and the second seat.
4 . The inline paddle fishing boat of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first storage compartment for storing fish, the first storage compartment being disposed between the first paddle wheel and the first seat; and a second storage compartment for storing fish, the second storage compartment being disposed between the second paddle wheel and the second seat.
5 . The inline paddle fishing boat of claim 1 , further comprising:
steering means comprising a tiller including a handle at the bow of the boat, a wheel-type rudder at the stern of the boat, and a cable connecting the tiller to the rudder, for positioning.
6 . A boat that is easily transportable on land, the boat comprising:
a hull; steering means for transportation on water, said means comprising a rudder which includes a wheel; and a locking pin for confining the wheel of the rudder to a single plane, for transportation on land.
7 . The boat of claim 6 , wherein the boat has a longitudinal axis, and wherein the locking pin confines the wheel of the rudder to a plane which includes the longitudinal axis of the boat.
8 . A device for steering a boat on water and for transporting the boat on land, the device comprising:
a rudder which includes a wheel, for steering the boat on water and for transporting the boat on land; a tiller, for turning the rudder while the boat is on water by connecting the tiller to the rudder; and a locking pin, for confining the wheel of the rudder to a single plane, for transporting the boat on land.
9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the boat includes a longitudinal axis, and the locking pin confines the wheel of the rudder to a plane which includes the longitudinal axis of the boat.
10 . An inline paddle fishing boat, comprising:
a boat having a longitudinal axis; a paddle wheel for propelling the boat; a set of pedals for rotating the paddle wheel; a first seat for a first person to be seated while using the set of pedals to rotate the paddle wheel; and a second seat for a second person to be seated, the second seat being disposed behind the first seat along the longitudinal axis of the boat.
11 . An inline paddle fishing boat, comprising:
a boat having a longitudinal axis; a first seat for a first person to be seated; a paddle wheel for propelling the boat; a set of pedals for rotating the paddle wheel; and a second seat for a second person to be seated while using the set of pedals to rotate the paddle wheel, the second seat being disposed behind the first seat along the longitudinal axis of the boat.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
