Cancer treatment method

Abstract

A method of treating cancer is described including administration of a 4-quinazolineamine and at least one other anti-neoplastic agent as well as a pharmaceutical combination including the 4-quinazolineamines.

1 . A method of treating head and neck cancer in a mammal, comprising administering to said mammal a therapeutically effective amount of: 
 (a) a compound of formula II:                          or a salts, solvate or physiologically functional derivative thereof; and    (b) at least one platinum coordination complex.    
     
     
         2 . A method of treating head and neck cancer in a mammal, comprising administering to said mammal a therapeutically effective amount of: 
 (a) a compound of formula II,                          or salt thereof; and    (b) at least one platinum coordination complex.    
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one platinum coordination complex is selected from the group consisting of cisplatin and carboplatin.  
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein said at least one platinum coordination complex is cisplatin.  
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein said at least one platinum coordination complex is carboplatin.  
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein said at least one platinum coordination complex is selected from the group consisting of cisplatin and carboplatin.  
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein said at least one platinum coordination complex is cisplatin.  
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein said at least one platinum coordination complex is carboplatin.
